I'm not sure why being hatched from an egg would be a better thing. I suppose it might be more pleasant for the mother than giving birth, but then you gotta incubate it, and would that mean that humans would lay eggs regularly like chickens do? That could lead to some really bizarre "cannibalism" fetishes.
