The only thing about Odyssey that I found disappointing was that Peach didn't become playable. I mean, they gave her Tiara, which I assumed was so that she could use Capture... but then it turns out it was just so Cappy had a motivation to rescue them.
So in any case, whether it's DLC or a sequel, I want Peach to be playable. And Luigi too, maybe Yoshi to round out the cast. All with slightly different jump physics, of course.
