is gamefaqs even gonna be around for the rest of our lives
Having all that much money in one go sounds dangerous, especially legally. Can I have guarantee that my money will not cause financial troubles such as frozen bank account for suspicious activity and I can use it as normal without sorting the legality?
It's way too much time. You'd go insane.
If it was only 3-4 days a week or an hour or two every day, it'd be doable. But that's such an insane restriction on your life to do 8 hours every single day forever.
7. If you break any terms of this agreement, the genie will confiscate all of your current assets, save for $5000 cash and whatever personal items you can fit into two suitcases (and the personal items can in no case exceed $5000 in value). Good luck!
8. There are really no loopholes here. If you think you are clever and know a loophole to scam the genie, you are wrong, and the genie will punish you severely for trying.
I agree, immediately breach the agreement and take the $5000

I'll take the deal, give all the money to someone, then break the deal, just to see them suffer.
Does it count when you are not on GameFAQs but doing something directly related to it? Ie:
-watching a video or reading an article someone posted?
-gathering information for a ranking or other project?
-on the Discord?
-watching some sort of movie or event simultaneously with other GameFAQs members and chatting about it while it's playing?
-watching a movie for a collective ranking project?

You'd lose everything you own except a few smaller items too >_>

Also "the rest of my life" is difficult. Surely it should be "as long as I am medically able to do so". If I was, say, bedridden, or had some form of degenerative disease, or was otherwise rendered unable to read the boards, would I lose all the money? I mean I'd want to pass some of the money on when I'm gone, but by the sounds of it, if it got to a point where this became virtually impossible the money would still be taken from me.

No to all. This is very specifically counting time on the message boards only.
Is there some form of counter to keep track of my 8 hours?
Also, I presume, say, being on a train or a passenger in a car and reading it counts towards said 8 hours

You're not that clever, are you?
What part of the genie taking your stuff is unclear? If you give it away, it isn't yours anymore, and the genie does fuck all to that person. Meanwhile, he comes back and invents new and insidious ways to fuck you over for trying to be a douche.

Ok cool. So then I can live in that person's house forever and never have to work and can go on free vacations for life.
Ah ok I missed 6, my bad

However, anything that would seriously distract you such as playing a game or chatting with someone off of the boards themselves is not allowed .
no, i don't think theres any amount of money that would make me agree to that

All the loopholes were stated by OP.
You give all the money to a close family member. Immediately welch on the deal. Then your family member asks you where they should build their 'vacation home', and you say Paris or Rome or whatever. You live in their 'vacation home', and do whatever you want with 'their' money.

If you want to try and defeat the entire purpose of the experiment go ahead.

It's that person's house, so you can only do all that if they allow it. If you want to risk putting that kind of trust in them, go for it.
Wait
Isn't that basiclly Luster life?
