Yeah I think its pretty clear that they made the live every show moving forward schedule a thing because they feared a reprisal because of the language of the deals, not because of any actual threats from the Networks

And now after conversations with the Networks about what they expect, they have something more reasonable in place

Okay, so I can at least see why Nia Jax screws up a lot of moves. Even if she shouldn't. I can at least understand how she fucks them up.

But what the FUCK is this? You just needed to walk closer and then throw her back against the top turnbuckle. That's all. She just fucking gave up, or maybe her knee was about to give out, or something. But what the hell? How do you just throw someone like that, especially when they just recovered from a concussion?

But apparently when WWE wrestlers get released, they're always paid for 90 days and technically it's just a "notice" of being released. That they'll be officially released 90 days from the date they're announced as released.

Is this how it works?

I mean he's been a good worker with bad habits in certain matches (spamming Superman Punches) but like he's had some good matches over the years. I can't name one good Nia Jax match outside of her match with Rousey.

I heard of the non-compete clause, I didn't know that they were technically still under contract for those 90 days.

As independent contractors, if they werent paid for those 90 days but still not allowed to work anywhere else, that would be SO unreasonable that someone would surely take them to court over it

Should note also that this does not apply when contracts actually expire. Those people are immediately free, and you cant game the system by releasing them within 90 days. Theyd still be free when their contract ran out.

So tonight on NXT they played really, really hard into Drake Maverick's storyline right now, including having the announcers talk about how he's trying to save his job.

So its one of three things:
  1. They told him he was going to be re-hired after the pandemic subsides.
  2. They already hired him back.
  3. They never fired him to begin with.
3 feeling like the most scummiest.
