Insects are typically invaders of your home (Similar to mice, though I'd never kill a mouse) so I can understand killing a spider in your house maybe. But killing one outside seems entirely unnecessary.

First of all, I missed the animal rights topic derail do I just want to say that I am a vegetarian, yet not every animal is the same. Insects do not have the same level of cognitive function that mammals do. In countries with actually strong animal testing protections unlike the US, the only invertebrates that get covered are octopuses because theyre do intelligent.

On the current subject, wow I cant believe that this is the second party in the most powerful country and second largest democracy on Earth doing this. That they can just persecute vulnerable minorities so directly is disgusting.

periods are hormonal - so while obvious trans women aren't physically shedding the lining of uterus, HRT is known to give trans women the same surrounding period symptoms (PMS)

I heard that South Korea responded with a test missile launch of their own in conjunction with the US, and it was a failure, as the missile failed to take off properly. The report indicated the warhead did not detonate however.
Warning, the self-destruct system has been activated, all personnel should evacuate immediately, 5 minutes to detonation.

At least there is variety. Every Republican ad in Iowa is just "the Democratic candidate is supported by Democrats and that means they are a liberal extremist and we can't afford them. They are just like Biden, Pelosi, and AOC."

Here, for the House districts (though I feel like 95% of the ads I see are the next district over seeing as how it's more competitive) it's "BIDEN PELOSI HOCHUL VOTED TO RAISE ENERGY PRICES INFLATION DRILL BABY DRILL" (I've been trying to work out how all three of them "voted" on something together but I digress)

For the Governor race it's just absolutely gross and the main ad running (from my current house rep) is all-in on crime and literally saying, "This November, vote like your life depends on it, because it just might." overlayed with "real crime footage"

Marijuana was always pretty unfairly criminalized imo. Its got so many beneficial uses and should be completely legal both medically and recreationally. Some people get more time in prison for possession of it than actual murderers which is fucked up

Oh, if he was going to do it, it was 100% going to be done in such a way as to help them during the midterms. Part of that is because politics sucks and part of that is because we're morons and anything more than a month ago is forgotten by the time we vote.
