Not finishing a streaming movie or something at home doesn't count. I mean actually going to a real theater and leaving.
Okay, I rolled a 14. What's that mean? Hsu

No, and I saw Dumb and Dumberer in theaters.

No. And I went to see Batman and Robin.

I don't think I've even stopped a movie at home.

Nah. If I'm in the movie theater, it's either a movie I was pretty sure I wanted to see all the way through, or I'm tagging along with someone who wanted to see it all the way through. Taking chances on a random movie where I have the option of leaving just isn't a situation I find myself in.
Can't remember, wanted to during Norbit but I was on a school trip so couldn't.

I took a, like, 10-minute bathroom break during Avatar 2 because I was bored out of my fucking mind. But I went back to sit through the rest of it.
Not to be confused with XIII_Minerals.
Did it for the first time ever last month during Evil Dead Rise. It took a terrible movie, someone 4 seats away talking constantly, and me being in a terrible mood.
azuarc wasn't even home. he was playing Magic the Gathering at his buddy's store, which is extremely easy to verify
Yes, we walked out of the movie Leatherheads. We thought it would be a fun football comedy and it was pretty much neither.

But we only paid $5 otherwise we might have stayed.

Ever? I mean, I technically didn't leave the theater, but I did step out of The Karate Kid Part 3 to play an arcade game. I can't remember the name of it, but it was related to Contra and was played from behind the back like the tunnel stages (not Cabal or anything like that, this game scrolled). It was on one of the XBox 360's programs, some kind of arcade gimmick that I can't remember.

It's going to bug me all night now.
I don't think that this is in the spirit of what you are looking for, but my mom took my sister and I to see Hocus Pocus, and we both got scared to the point of crying, so mom took us home lol. It is one of my earliest vague memories since I was evidently three or four.

Oh I nearly ran out during the first Brendan Frasier Mummy because the way Imhotep kept taking everyone's skin to reconstruct himself absolutely scared me shitless

But I was 9 and I only got halfway up the aisle before Dad brought me back

The G.I. Joe arcade game plays like this. Unless by scrolled you mean horizontally, in which case I have no idea.

Oh wait, might be NAM 1975

I haven't, but the absolute closest I got and I nearly did and convinced myself to see it through was Zoolander 2.

Like it wasn't bad enough that it wasn't funny, but it was also just so offensively stupid and uninteresting.

No, but I barely ever go to movie theaters.
Azuarc is my favorite arc of the Game of the Decade 2020 anime.
Closest was when I was 9 we went to see Spider-Man 2 for my friend's birthday party - I hated superheroes at the time and was so bored I spent a good chunk just hanging out in the bathroom.
I've decided to put my fears behind me. I'm not going back.

Not willingly. We left halfway through Superman Returns cause my friends didn't want to stick it out.

With how expensive movies are these days I don't see myself ever leaving a movie I paid for even if I value my time much more these days than I did in the past. Yeah it's sunk cost but whatever lol
as for the topic, no

the closest was I fell asleep during Indiana Jones 4

No, and I saw some stinkers in theaters from 2004-09 when my best friend and I basically went almost every weekend.

We stayed through Epic Movie.

Scary Movie. I was 11 and seeing it with my mom, and she made us leaving during a sex scene, lol.
Change is weird.
I saw Killing Them Softly in a theater. It's a Brad Pitt movie from 2012. I almost walked out in the first 5 minutes, cause I just knew it was going to be pretentious and preachy. I didn't, and I regret it to this day.

*****es be crazy!!
Nope, I don't go often though

The closest was probably when I went to see Frozen 2, only because my friend ended up having to leave like 10 minutes in and left me alone, but I stuck it out

Theaters overcharge you to the point that I don't go if it's a movie I don't know if I want to see. I can wait three months until streaming in that case but I usually forget about it by then. And now, THE LIST exists (see sig) so I should be good for a while.

Back in the day, my sister worked there, so I would either get in for free or for $1. Never left during that period because it wasn't a big deal. Worst movie I saw during that time was easily Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle . Just indescribably incoherent. And yet I sat through the whole thing.

This is amazing haha, that movie also scared the shit out of me at the time.

I read that Ari Aster did the same thing during Dick Tracy as a kid, and made it several blocks through New York

Only one ever. "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" back in the late 90's. It could not decide its genre and I hated everyone but the teacher, and I didn't even know who Helen Mirren was at the time.

Although it helped that said theater was my hangout spot back in high school, and nobody who worked there gave a shit if you hung out so long as you paid to get in, initially. And I more than paid for the "extra tickets" sneaking into theaters by feeding the arcade machines quarters.

Never in the middle of a movie, but when I was a kid my Mom and I went to see an early showing of something and we were the only two people in the theater, and after sitting there for about ten minutes they decided they just weren't going to show the movie for only us and gave us refunds. I mostly remember it because my Mom was more angry about not getting a refund for the popcorn she otherwise wouldn't have bought than not actually seeing the movie.

If this counts, then I left Shoot 'Em Up this way.

My favorite story of people walking out of the theaters was during 10 Cloverfield Lane. Where someone stood up in the middle of the movie and said loudly "Yo, where the dinosaur at?" And he and his friends walked out.

Not that I recall, though when I first went to see Megamind, the screening was cancelled because the film wouldn't start properly for some reason.

Sadly, there are no second chances in the Guru, azuarc doesn't need one.
Never and I've seen some absolute garbage.

But I'd rather endure the garbage all the way through and take it as a character building learning experience.

I fell asleep for a small part of the early 00s Hulk movie. That's as close as I've ever come but I could see it happening someday.
No problem!
This is a cute and pop genocide of love!
well, there was one time or two i went into the wrong cinema when i was a kid and i left to go to the correct one upon realising it was the wrong film, but otherwise no
I have not, but one of my assistants told me the other day her entire family walked out of the new Little Mermaid halfway through after they got bored. Spent over $100 and walked out. I couldn't.

Corky Romano. I was a young teen though.

I wanted to walk out of Dunkirk, but I was with a friend who liked it a lot. That movie doesn't work for me at all.

Yes but only because I realized I had locked my keys inside my car in the parking lot. It was the weirdest shit, I was watching Superbad and halfway through the movie my brain just went like "dude you left your keys in the car" and I reached for my pocket to check, and they totally weren't there.
After I realized this I couldn't enjoy the movie anymore and just left to try and figure that whole situation out. Should've just finished the movie first but I was too upset lol.

I've never walked out of a theatre but figured I must have at least stopped watching a movie at some point due to it being terrible.
Thank you for reminding me that that movie was Let's Be Cops.

If leaving because the screening was cancelled counts, I left Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest because the film broke about 20 minutes in, and everyone there was given tickets to watch another film instead.
