Anime discourse at large is so toxic and annoying. It almost makes me wish it went back to being more obscure.

I really don't think the Yumichika line is essential. I think making Gigi's gender ambiguous is just fine. Especially since the additions to the Bambies vs. Ichigo fight were already really good, showing that making positive changes isn't something they're against for the anime.

There really is something wrong with the pacing when they have to shove in a recap episode in a 13 ep season, like there could have been bits and transitional parts that could have been kept in for better flow...

Ever since DBZ Kai came out, I've wanted a "Kai" for Bleach so bad. The pacing is the worst thing about the show.

Seeing Rukia get a big moment was so nice. Idek why but I've always been a big Rukia fan. I used to have a Sode no Shirayuki replica but it was stolen/lost :(

Well, this weeks episode was actually pretty good. I think they got through this stuff nearly as well as possible though I think they should have made further cuts to last episode. Glad they whizzed through Pepe, it was actually kinda fun when it was only ten minutes not going on for a month. This was much better than the manga was. It is smooth sailing from here on until the last 10ish chapters.

Yeah they adapted 5 chapters (extending a fight that was offscreen before even) and only had to cut like 1 whole page.

A lot of the time the footage in anime trailers is made specifically for the trailer, not production materials, although I have a feeling that the rest of the Ichibe vs Yhwach stuff we see there was intended for this part then pushed back to make way for the new Squad 0 stuff.

Right now Im guessing 2025, hopefully early. If its just a six month wait again maybe the last part will begin next year, but it would probably go over into 2025 either way.

Speaking of which Im curious where Part 3 will end. The trailer seems to cover at least up to Shunsui vs Lille but I would expect it to go further.
