Screen buzzes, cracks.

Shut Up and Dance is in a very tight race with the previous episode, but it ends up in the bottom 3 for now, with only a 0.03 difference with Playtest! Now let's visit this surprisingly heartwarming Black Mirror episode.
The episode is set in a beach resort town named San Junipero, where the introverted Yorkie (Mackenzie Davis) meets the more outgoing Kelly (Gugu Mbatha-Raw). The town is part of a simulated reality the elderly can inhabit, even after death. "San Junipero" was the first episode written for series three of Black Mirror; initial drafts were based on nostalgia therapy and designed as a 1980s period piece. The first script was about a heterosexual couple and had an unhappy ending; the final version was about a lesbian couple and had a happy ending.

This is the episode I believe to be the most overrated episode of all time. I'd still rate it a 8/10 , but I don't agree with everyone calling it the best.

It's a nice heartwarming story in a show that isn't known for that. Plus I really like the idea of the uploaded afterlife so it was nice exploring that

Must say I found the posts that didn't realize "the twist" of "Shut up and Dance" until the end to be kinda...weird
I thought it was obvious something was off from the very first scene
But then when you realize how much he panicked for just masturbating and you think "oh no they didn't"

9.5 for me. Super interesting concept, and the history of the series worked in the episode's favor- we're all waiting with dread for the other shoe to drop but then WHAM, happy ending instead! (Well, depending how you look at it... but happy by this show's standards.)

For yesterday I will say

S3E3 - Shut Up and Dance - 8

The most terrifying episode for me, because the rest of the series says "watch out, this could happen soon!" but this scenario is (I assume) already happening every day. Probably with blackmail crypto payoffs so it never makes headlines.
