I think more people should play Ocnus Theory, I've put a few hours into it so far and it's super nifty. You're a cube that grabs onto objects Katamari-style, and you use that ability to do precise navigation and physics-based platforming in a mysterious Metroidvania world. There's a Getting Over It element of climbing up and falling down, but there are a lot of checkpoints you can spawn to so it's not too punishing and also very easy to pick up and put down. On sale for under $10 now.
