Joker, really, huh...

Talking to people at the front of the ship almost never advances anything in the game and rarely has new dialogue, so I basically never talked to Joker outside of mainline cutscenes.

Anderson is hard, I want to say him, because it's Keith David and his voice is recognizable, but like first thought outside of Shepard I lean into Miranda > Kaiden > Ashley.

I know I'm not the only one, but I actually played 2 before the first one because I only owned a PS3 at the time. I'm sure it was the same for a lot of PS3 only owners too.

This is essentially why I think it's Miranda. Her "butt controversy" wins this for her. Human Mass Effect characters who aren't Shepard... aren't exactly a cohort that people care about.

its weird how little feeling I have about Joker

i really liked those games, and loved some of the characters. this guy is there the whole time, and hes played by an actor I sort of like and I just kind of feel nothing for him. Hes fine. Its nice they let him have a robot girlfriend.

Maybe Edi is why I don't look back on Joker fondly.

People clown about the actual ending and structure of ME3, but I was already turned way off of that game when they turned Edi into a sexy robot girl. Probably one of the worst things in Mass Effect.

Yeah, the Joker/EDI relationship in ME3 became a little too weird. It was kind of charming and quirky when he was just "in love with the ship" so to speak, but they couldn't just leave it at that.

EDI's still great though.

But yeah, I'd say Miranda is probably most iconic of the humans outside of Shepard. Joker shares a name with two more popular Jokers in Persona 5's protag and Batman's iconic villain. Plus he's not a squad mate. There's at least 5 aliens above her though. (In sort of order: Garrus, Wrex, Mordin, Tali, Liara)
