Lol yeah, Garuda is so prominent that it took me a second to realize literally the only non-MMO game until XVI where Garuda is a summon is FFXV.....and that's only because of the FFXIV crossover.
Like a lot of XIV stuff, Garuda as a summon originates in XI. and shes in XVI because Yoshi-P basically just used the main ones from XIV again.
