As a kid I just kept my guys at critical and spammed skip to do it way before aura but yeah.Yup, both of these for me. Summons took way too long to be fun to use for the most part. Doomtrain was useful though, IIRC.
Never used summons. Lots of ways to break that game in any case even if you don't really pay attention
I think "of its time" kinda implies that the experience is messy yes. Both of these are in play for me, and I think the answer thus becomes Final Fantasy XIV 1.0, which I guess is truly a testament to how Herculean a task it was to repair that game and turn it into the tremendous experience it is now.
For me the more I think about it it's about damage done to the series overall with the release.
It's not FF2. People forget just how influential that game actually was. SaGa exists today because of it. Dragoons and several series mascots exist today because of it. Hell, 'FF has interesting stories' exists today because of it.
The gameplay is heavily unapproachable
shoutouts to FF9 for having the worst gameplay in the series.
the only good nes jrpg is hoshi wo miru hitodies
Yup, both of these for me. Summons took way too long to be fun to use for the most part. Doomtrain was useful though, IIRC.
15, regardless of qualifiers.
