can we delete the Stellar Blade board if hornyposting isnt allowed
Blanket ban on a nebulous "objectification" is doing a lot of work there (even if I agree with it in theory)This is all redundant with stuff already covered in offensive and then hits "no objectification" which best i can tell is the "post like you are 12" rule
Are they even still hornyposting there? I thought they had now all turned on Stellar Blade because they added .01 cm of cloth to a costume so now it was garbage. They have a petition and everything!

It makes sense to me. Corporate overlords have 'reason' to close boards related to Religion, Sexuality, etc. Who knows what drama might be brewing in those dens of inequity? People might be expressing opinions! This board is ostensibly about game contests and game character contests. So we've looped around to being more topical than social boards like RI, which from Fandom's point of view serve no purpose to exist if they're more than 1 degree separated from video games.
B8 being contest-themed is actually helpful in this regard. That theme is too boring to worry about.
They want a mainstream win. They want something that can be the mascot of Gamergate, with commercial success, to own the woke libs. Preferably they want a developer that openly decries all gaming news outlets and actively states they are anti censorship. They also want the game to score poorly at major publications for their narrative, because if woke gaming outlets score it well that means something is wrong.
They found out this week that the people at Shift Up are just normal people who are horny and it's devestated them.

Discusses the illegal or recreational use of drugs
btw I've asked and there are 0 plans to close Board 8 at allAsk Timmy about it. Toast basically has as much power as Sballen does right now.
Now granted corporate guys above Toast could turn around and hand out a new edict tomorrow, but just based on what has been flagged up, the ones closed today are the final closures that will take place
Hornyposting is going to be interesting because it acts like horny games don't existOnly if you have a boner
Is a screenshot of swimsuit Tifa moddable now
Hold on a second.I mean this is just the way pearl-clutchers talk about drugs in all areas of life. I don't think it's much different from the way the rule has been since the early 2000s.
Discusses the illegal OR recreational use of drugs
Meaning that technically we can get modded for talking about caffeine, cool cool cool (jokes on you, I just switched to decaf).
Yeah thats obviously not what it meant but it does further show a general lack of care and thought into writing these rules now.

User rules got updated. "8. Hornyposting" is hilarious. Especially since all this shit was approved at a corporate level.
Was there a problem with calling it "overly sexualized content"? Sure it's still vague, but it's so much less cringe than "hornyposting".Can drop the overly word. We cant even approach mentioning things as slightly sexual content.
We cant even approach mentioning things as slightly sexual content.
Is that actually the case though? Thats not how Im reading the rule. The rules, especially as they are being enforced, you cant move beyond the lowest level of discussion on the subject.
Hey lefty let's squeeze in one more SMFFFC before it's too late
I also got curious and joined the fandom community discord.I'm not surprised. Your statements earlier in the topic about stealing content, etc, are spot on. Don't need any community if all you do is leech off of other people on the internet.
Its...less active than b8 discord.
"If anyone questions your sexuality, that's moddable!"Sort of a "Don't ask, don't tell" eh?
"Don't post details about your sexuality. We'll mod that!"
I guess that kind of balances out. Though it's dumb.
I also got curious and joined the fandom community discord.By less active I mean outside the occassional people dropping in for help with their wikis and then bouncing out, we're talking like 6 social posts a day.

Did did they really not include a rule on politics after all that noise?Politics is implemented as "no politics" but they decided to not put that rule in for some reason.
