Infinite Wealth was a great improvement over LaD in the gameplay department but even as someone who can usually ignore/forgive a bad story, the story was so bad AND bloated that it's unlikely to even crack my top 5 this year.

Yeah the story in Infinite Wealth never really grabbed me. As for the game as a whole, after over 120 hours I was kinda just happy it was finally over.

That said, I still loved the game and will look forward to the next one.

Infinite Wealth is easily the best Yakuza game. A massive improvement on LaD and 0. The story had its weak parts, but Kiryu's side was amazing (all the reminiscence things, mainly), and Ichiban's side was still great for the first half. Plus I liked the ending a lot.

Id give it to LAD here. Fantastic game. Unicorn Overlord is very good, though.
