I really need to replay this one. I remember it being the best in the series, but it's been way too long. Don't think I can rate it accurately.

This was the first MMBN game I played and I loved it. I then played the others in the series and really enjoyed them.

...then around many years ago I decided to replay the series and found it to be much less fun than I remembered. I stopped partway in MMBN2, and never got back to my replay of 3, which I knew was the best of them all, but I didn't I had the energy to go and see again. I think it probably is not that good, but I cannot justifiably say so without giving it another shot.

I only played the first two.

I'll dock it a bit due to probably nostalgia. I don't think it'd quite hit the same as when I was a wee lad playing against my friend with the connect cable on the GBA. I have the first set of the collection but never actually replayed it, so I am going to assume there is an in game means of getting the Blue/White only chips. Since Area Grab * was exclusive to White iirc. Anyway. Probably the best in the series.

p sure the game just gives them to you as cheats you can activate at any time

Is MMBN3 significantly better than 2? I beat 1 and didn't like it. I gave 2 a try since I heard it was much better but the first few hours felt like more of the same. I'm wondering if I should give this series another chance.
