Im getting first boot vibes from blue tribe Sophii think it's nicole
Ha, I knew Jason was gonna say Smash, and it was great hearing them go in depth with it.Keep in mind the Survivor editors are major nerds, too, and would fit right in on this board.
Good on Matt for resisting being an overbearing know it all and letting them ask for his help. He avoided a mistake that many outdoor-savvy older guys make. This too. Steve also recognized what was happening - Matt didn't want to "become the leader" - and urged him on.
I feel like Annie SHOULD be the obvious first boot...but it's going to be Nicole instead.jeremiah will push for annie to go and alex will push for nicole to go so i guess it depends on where jake and sophi end up
It's gonna be so poetic if we get a Pearl Islands reference (multiple Pearl Islands references if you count "Shoe Bandit"), and we finish the episode with the second ever Nicole in Survivor US history...also being the first boot of her season. This is also pretty funny the more you think about it.
I just came out of that episode not really feeling like I'd gotten to know much about anyone. Two hours and nothing felt especially exciting.i just want more kristina

wholoud funny self-admittedly useless lady on yellow
loud funny self-admittedly useless lady on yellowI don't remember her at all.
Vague spoilers regarding the two people from 49 who are on 50 (no names, just how I feel about them based on last night)
I like one right now, but they could still very much go either way.
I hate the other.
If only that were true on Big Brother as well.eh, you gotta remember that Nicole Franzel was pretty awesome on BB16, but became worse with every subsequent appearance on any show (save for Reindeer Games). Her distortion stems from her winning BB18. And then there was BB21 Nicole, who was one of the only bright spots in an otherwise miserable season.

but the coolest part was that it was like, a proper community event. nobody seemed like a celebrity of any kind, it was just like, people you knew who were on things. This sounds like how it should be. I'd love to hang out with Survivor contestants and just act like we're old friends. But most of them aren't like that... they want to increase their Instagram followers and act like they're some kind of "Survivor expert" from having been on the show.
I just got caught up on survivor and i may have never hated someone more in my life than RizoIt's RizGod I despise. He shouldn't have brought that side of him, because he's an arrogant tryhard who is cringe, not entertaining. He should've just been Rizo, who doesn't suck but isn't memorable.
Every single fuckin person had a sob story and as a result they all blend together and Im actively cheering for well-adjusted normal guy Nate.Yeah, this is why nobody stands out. They're too redundant of each other - a common trope in the "New Era" that I am quite sick of. I want to see conflict, not kumbayah. At least we had Savannah saying they can't stay like that forever. They're gonna have to slit some throats later.

Losing part 1 sent Vince into a whining spiral about how much better at things Morgan is than him (and complaining about her winning vetoes she didn't need to win when he was HoH and wasn't going to target her). But losing part 2 to Ashley REALLY sent him spiraling, throwing the world's biggest pity party about how much of a loser he is in the house and in real life. This man is fucking EXHAUSTING, and it's so upsetting that there is still a chance he wins the game if Ashley somehow beats Morgan and takes him to the finals.
but that begs the question why someone who's self-aware about being obnoxious decides to still be obnoxiousHe probably thinks being obnoxious = increased airtime = increased social media following.
Just caught up. Don't really have anything to say about the Survivor premiere that hasn't already been said.
TAR premiere was the same level of mid. Maybe it would've been better if I actually knew any of these people, but the only team that really made an impression on me was Jack & Enzo, mostly from how much of a joke they were. But 13 teams is too much for an episode, and I'm glad the first boots at least got an episode dedicated to how much they suck at TAR rather than ending up like Mark & Larry where we don't even get to know them in order to keep some suspense about the result.
I was happy to see Enzo get fucked over. It's karma for the bullshit he pulled on Desi in the Challenge USA 1 finale. The producers pulled that bullshit. Enzo just couldn't swim.
