They rebranded Versus XIII and used a bunch of the old materials in the final game. It released just on a different way.Half-Life Alyx used some assets from Episode 3 too, but it's not the same game. New games use assets from canceled games all the time. Overwatch used a ton of assets from Titan, but is 100% not Titan.
