Yeah, I'm not at all surprised this was my first elimination. I didn't expect it to even break 50. I don't usually go in for this kind of "EXTREME" metal, and I don't really like most of Wintersun's other songs. But I do really like Winter Madness. And like I said before, it has my all time favorite guitar solo. The solo has a very neo-classical feel to it, something I wish more solos did. Too many solos sound like something the guitarist just made up on the spot. This solo was clearly composed.
Fun Fact, Wintersun started out as just one guy, Jari Menp, from Finland. He wrote everything and performed everything, except the drums. He used a programmable drum machine for drums. Which kinda explains why the drumming is so over the top. He was not restricted by the need for a person to be physically capable of doing it :P
The only reason he ever brought in other people was so they could play live. His music is notoriously difficult to play.
