I would say 5 is a better 3 (the light story job-style FF) but if I'm being honest I'm struggling to finish the last bit of the game.

I went so fast through 1-4 but there's just something about 5. I don't know if it's because I burned myself out maxing all the jobs for Freelancer.

Well... He didn't go after the intelligence agencies.

I remember he fired the FBI director but here we are with ex-CIA doing the news and 'toasters' spying on us.

And Fauci was neck-deep in developing covid, possibly at the behest of the CIA if Eco-health really was a front. And believe it or not they're still playing with covid over in china. The last I heard about it, it attacks the brain in mice.

Are the pokemon an invasive extraterresial species that wiped out most animals?

But there are pokegods or at least reality-bending beings manifested as pokemon. Maybe humans are the invasive species?

It's been what? 23-24 years?

I was thinking they animated a transition between Gold and Silver sprites but I don't see Silver, unless I overlooked something.

So they didn't do anything with the arguably better Silver sprites.

I think that might've been the first one I ever looked at? I had this idea to make a pokemon game or something ridiculous but didn't get very far.

I remember using official pokemon art for the characters. Basically full body portraits on either side of the screen for cutscenes and learning to dim whoever wasn't talking. Nintendo ninjas never got me. xD

Going down a list because I stopped caring after the DS games. Later stuff looks way overdesigned imo. It's basically another artstyle. Maybe a higher-res screen encouraged them to do that.

I heard Sugimori used to to redraw and quality check everything. But that's obviously not happening anymore.
