Its a step down from 4 for sure, but there's still some good stuff in there. Wouldn't say it was bad, but there's just not quite as good as you might remember from older games, added with the like, decade of hype given people were expecting from a final follow up.
Hypnospace posted... Game is pretty flawed. Fists essentially break the combat and they really fucked up the romance mechanic by making it RNG instead of just 'this character will date you once you reach a certain heart level'. I wanted to date Lucy before beating the game but I'm ultimately losing interest and just gonna jump to Guardians of Azuma once I finish it.
tbf, this was also a problem in 4.

This is also important. The Switch 1 simply can't run RF5.
