That's definitely thing. Not 30 minutes between ads but they do occasionally have 30 minutes of ad free music usually following a Spotify promotion ad saying as much.

As for the topic on hand, I think you'll generally experience less ads if you stopping skipping or selecting tracks. Selecting a new track almost always triggers an ad.

PC - often best versions of games, largest library by far, best communities
Nintendo - decent selection of franchises that can't be found anywhere else
PS - doesn't offer much, but still has some decent franchises and exclusives though that number is dwindling
Xbox - doesn't offer much, but personally I have also favoured their controllers
Mobile - the worst, its best games are shittier ports from other platforms, its own games are ad-infested micro-transaction mills.
