Honestly the actual way it ended was fine. All the character endings made sense IMO. The problem is how much they rushed getting there. For example Dany was always gonna snap, but they didnt do a good job building it up.This pretty much sums up how I feel about the show.
Other than the seasons being rushed, the only other gripe I had is the way they ended the white walkers so abruptly. I was really expecting to see an epic battle with them at Kings Landing.
Overall, I still think GoT is an amazing show. It had so much great character development and memorable moments in the first 6 seasons. The last two seasons definitely shouldve been stretched over 3 10-episode seasons IMO, but I thought the actual ending itself was fine and didnt ruin the show as a whole.
