Honestly I hate the introduction of abilities. Also I raged when playing through the Gold remake when an alakazam had a fighting move that used SP atk. That was also a change I will forever hate, having every type be both physical and special.

Nowadays I get peeved when I can't change my weapon/items/equipment easily and on the fly. Going into the start menu and switching stuff around is slow and useless. Shoulder buttons people!

It starts out having a disconnected plot, but all through disc 2 it's nothing but connections to CT.

Chrono Cross is actually a fantastic game. It has a few flaws (Battle theme, interchangeable accents AKA characters) but aside from those its a masterpiece with a really great story, as well as an absolutely amazing soundtrack.

Also important to note for later, Characters not in your party get a small share of EXP, but absolutely no tech points.

Your moveset and statistics use different points. Tech for skills, Exp for Levels/Stats
