We're already seeing many current gen games with no plans of being ported to the WiiU, ones coming out after the WiiU launch, so that could be tricky for them.

honestly I think Nintendo's just holding back post-launch window announcements - it's what they said about their own game announcements this e3, and I don't think it's a coincidence that none of the 3rd party games are 2013 either.

you mean because the dpads are freaking awful regardless of where they're placed

... well, that's besides the point!

I still can't imagine maining hte dpad comfortable in a secondary position

seriously, it's why I love the N64 controller

dualshock, using the analog sticks is uncomfortable since it's in the secondary position

gcn/xbox, using dpads are uncomfortable because they're in secondary position

N64 has two placements so you can have analog in primary position for 3d games, and dpad in primary position for 2d games. so no matter what type of game you're playing, it's comfortable.

you either use d-pad and L, or control stick + Z, depending on what kind of game you're playing

Can't remember any game that required constant use of the L button.

I can think of Pokemon Stadium's Sandshrew Digs minigame where you mashed L and R

I was totally the best at that, never lost.


Pokemon Stadium was a d-pad game though, so it's one of the few games you hold the left handle

One thing that sucked for my experience is that I didn't realize the upgrades in the middle house until I beat the game -____-

I still really enjoyed the game though, and aww yeah playable granny
