And everyone i've talked to so far has absolutely loved the trade for Hodgson since a young good center is something we really need. Hell the one time i went to Vegas there was a day where i had the day to myself since everyone i went with had other stuff they had to do and even then I had a blast since everyone in Vegas goes to have a good time and are usually great to party with. hockeydude15 01/29/12 10:56:00 AM #6	Amazon is only tax-free in those states because it doesn't have any type of buildings there doing things like shipping or just data centers. That doesn't make the products tax free, only that Amazon doesn't have to charge tax for it. You are technically suppose to report the amount that wasn't taxed on your taxes so they can well...tax you for it. Don't think i've ever seen someone actually do that but i know people like you who have had to pay taxes on the stuff afterward because the state found out. Got lucky once by having someone total a car i bought 2 months prior for 3k and ended up getting 4500 for it. But after the first week it started to drag on and on and by the end i was sick of it. Like if you are personally responsible for another human being and participating in jury duty will affect your ability to do so, yadda yadda yadda... I'm sorta hoping the fact that i drive my wife to and from work is enough to get me out of it. that should be able to get you out of it when i got picked for jury duty someone used that exact excuse and got out of it. However, to mitigate that, Biscuit, you can look at the message detail to see which ones I mean; they'll be where these words here are. Also, there are legitimate gameplay-related reasons to get the achievements if you intend replays, since most of them come with some sort of bonus. You have to play the game at least three times doing the vast majority of the sidequests to get all of them though, so most people don't think it's worth it. Still, anytime I replay the game I can choose one of any biotic/engineer/weapon skill tree regardless of my class, and my exp gain, health, and shield strength are all boosted, with all skill recharge times dropping and a bit of permanent health regen to boot. (I went a little crazy last year and did almost all of them; my current Insanity playthrough is the only time I haven't done the sidequests in five full playthroughs. =P) I do agree that there are reasons to do the sidequests, just no reason for Biscuit to be doing them at all since it really doesn't seem like he is enjoying any part of the combat and even the character specific ones really aren't that necessary outside of the one we all know about. But even then i'm a big proponent on playing a game through first without really thinking about the final outcome it will have, you can always fix everything you didn't like on a second play-through where you breeze over most of the unimportant parts and can beat the game in half the time. The vanilla run of a game blind is always the best time. From: vcharon \| #147 Mass Effect is a game that relies on you spending time with your characters to really see their personalities develop. The unique dialogues go a long way to making the character, and if you just keep using Garrus and Wrex then you will see no one's reaction to anything you do outside of Garrus and Wrex. Each character outside of Wrex can be pretty unlikable from their normal dialog and bringing them along with you in missions really doesn't change who that character is at all. hockeydude15 01/02/12 9:38:00 PM #140	I really don't know why people are telling you to do all of the side missions, they are absolutely terrible and really should never be done unless you are trying to the god awful achievement on the 360. Seriously just stop where you are with them at this point since they take about as long as the main story line takes to do while the payoff for them is so little/insignificant in ME2 and have no benefit in ME1. That is unless you haven't been going just straight paragon or renegade, then i guess they pose a small purpose though even then it isn't the end of the world and isn't worth going through all that work if you are not enjoying the game in the first place. As for the original Mass Effect as a whole, you kinda have to play it for the story since everything else about it is pretty average at best and that's it. It had a few working parts that made me get through it three times with the last time 100% it which made me never want to play the game ever again (so many bad side quests cannot be overstated) but really i would only recommend someone finishing it just by going straight through all of the story missions just so they can get it out of the way so they can start playing ME2. Every con you have is improved greatly in the sequel down to the characters actually showing some type of personality.
