I really wouldn't be surprised if, and I mean IF, Square picked a FF6 rep, they would choose Kefka. I mean yeah, Square chooses Terra as the "leader" of the Returners, but she just doesn't stand out much, and FF6 leader arguments happen all the time, the game often gets the "no distinct leader" argument. Kefka though is the definite opposer, and was totally the best thing about Dissidia.

I could see Nintendo being hesitent to Cloud do to him being a "Sony character" in their eyes. Wouldn't be surprised if they opted out for either a FF1 character (First Ninty FF), a FF6 character (Last Ninty FF), or, knowing how much Square loves whoring it out, a FF4 character (whored out Ninty console FF)
