CD2 is like ten times better than CD1.

Also, I don't know what emulator you're using, but it sure isn't the right one if it doesn't let you switch disks. Use pSX, it's the best and most straightforward one.

(If you're actually playing a legit copy despite your wording, you could always just get the emulator and restart, if you're not willing to shell out the cash and wait on the mail)

Oh you have to hit them with the sword. Why does a sword work but not the mirror shield that's so dumb.

If you now read the other guy's last post you'll probably feel pretty dumb.

I know I did when I was stuck at the same problem years ago and suddenly realized I'd already done this fight earlier in the game without getting stuck!

You specifically said that Norwegians were not violent like Americans, and that an act like this would never be perpetuated in such an enlightened, non-spanking country.

Take the punches like a man.

Vegeta! What does the scouter say about his autism level?

(Seriously, learn to not take things too literally, the world isn't black and white. Implying that I think ALL Norwegians are saints and that it has ANYTHING to do with spanking children is just asinine)

I'm simply pointing out how the only way for evil to exist in Norway is if someone had immigrant parents from America and spanked their child. I assumed the suspect was that child.

Lol, what a sad person you are. Think you're making some kind of statement or point here? It's worth being a complete ass in the face of a terribly tragic situation JUST to get back at me?

Talk about stupid.

So I guess Anders Behring Breivik wins the award for least terrorist-looking terrorist ever.

Apparently he lived in Oslo West, which is pretty much Norway's Beverly Hills and one of the last places you'd ever look for a terrorist.

Police now say that at least 80 kids were killed. Also, check out this photo of him from the scene:

Yeah, that's pretty much the most evil picture ever. Notice the kid in the bottom left corner.

Beat the game before doing the optional stuff.

Especially true for the PAL version, of course.

I'm trying to understand why any single person does anything like this.

Well, some people do things like this because they're raised as brainwashed zombies. See: Al Qaida training camps.

But this obviously wasn't someone like that. He was a person raised in a democratic, wealthy country. How can someone go so wrong in such a good environment?

No, not at all, I'm not personally affected(I think). But it's a small country and when something this big happens it feels very close to you.

Man, the guy who did this is going to get it bad. They caught him alive. About time to reinstate those fun gadgets you typically find in the dungeons of old castles IMO.

Apparently the shooter was a Norwegian.

Trying to comprehend what could cause a Norwegian to kill 25+ kids on youth camp.

Norway doesn't really have any internal opposition groups, except maybe the neo-nazis, but I don't see them killing Norwegian kids, kinda against their policy.

And it can't be just a random psycho either, because he's connected to the bombing, and that was clearly not a bomb you could make in your garage.

Seriously though, wasn't bombing the hell out of our government enough?

7 dead, several injured, and not just that: The bomb was partly a diversion, allowing a gunman disguised as police to open fire unhindered in an Arbeiderpartiet (labour party) youth camp, using handguns, shotguns and machine guns. Apparently he killed at least 4 people and injured many more and went around shooting people for hours before reportedly being captured by SWATs.

Horrible day for us Norwegians.

From just international sales and preorder tickets, it is looking to have made well over $100 million, and I'm guessing as high as $120 million by the end of the night.

You realize Harry Potter is a British thing and much more popular in Britain/Europe in general than in the US right? Obviously the movies make more in every other country combined than in just the US...

And GHEEEEEETSIS GHEEEEEETSIS is the worst pokemon battle theme ever.

Harry Potter movies started out good, turned horrible and recovered in the end. Both parts of the last movie are good.

It's still blasphemy to watch the movies without reading the far superior books though.

Why anyone would want to play the Advance version of FF6 over the original is beyond me.

Things they ruined:

-The music, big time, and music is the best thing about FFVI
-The translation. Upgrading ability names is just fine, but they ruined so many memorable lines.
-The graphics. Lower resolution + washed out colours + slowdown = mess.
-They also censored several things, and the original US version was ALREADY censored a lot so that's saying something.

Things they improved:

-Removed some minor glitches and exploits
-4 new summons in a game that already has like 20+... yeah not worth it

Here's hoping that Square Enix will go down in a fiery blaze of un-glory in the next few years, then rise from the ashes as a smaller, more focused company that actually likes making games, and start making smaller-scale, charming and fun RPGs like the ones we see a lot of on the DS.

Radiant Historia showed that an old-school low-budget JRPG can still be ten times better than most other games on the market.

Fujin speaking in caps is kind of a desperate attempt by the translators to translate something that gets lost in... translation. Yeah.

Like someone else said, she originally spoke in Kanji; Chinese symbols, which means she could only express an idea or item, without putting it into context.

Here's my tip.

Just continue the game for now, beat it, then return to the missions if you want to.

Pretty much all of the missions are harder than anything in the main game.

Also, a little heads-up with SLIGHT GAMEPLAY SPOILERS:

You have to beat the game to get the full Chrystarium anyway.
