I'm fine with scrambled, sunny side up, or over easy.

But I definitely don't stick with scrambled too long because sunny side up and over easy's yolk goes amazingly with toast.

Hard Corps Uprising = Awesome contra game with online multiplayer that's got crazy good netcode. Made by the Guilty Gear people, with visuals and music similar to it, has a mode where you can buy tons of upgrades for each character, and each character's different.

Spelunker HD = Long, very difficult platformer. You'll die a ton in the game, and it'll throw new ideas out to kill you with every single level. Has over 100 levels, all decently sized, and up to 6 person coop online. Also has versus online where you race through gauntlets of traps and stuff.

Bionic Commando Rearmed = Should probably already have it. It's a fantastic remake of Bionic Commando, cool swinging mechanics and shooting and all that.

I do hate Sheamus never losing, because it's just boring how he does it. This smackdown's ending was absolutely terrible in all context.

He was injured, there was interference, he was facing someone credible. It would have easily made the most sense that he lose this smackdown so that Daniel Bryan looks more credible going into his title match against CM Punk and likewise Sheamus doesn't seem literally impossible to beat to Del Rio even with cheating involved.

As is, Sheamus no-sold the hell out of offense and OVERCAME THE ODDS at the expense of making both #1 contenders for both world titles look overwhelmingly weak and stupid. If an injured Sheamus wins on the #1 contender for the WWE Championship with interference made against him, what hope does Del Rio have? Why should anyone be interested since Sheamus just did that and hasn't lost in ages?

Likewise, why is CM Punk in danger? Daniel Bryan's apparently inept enough to lose that match up tonight and climb to the top rope against a guy who is on his feet more than halfway across the ring and make a jump for him at that distance AFTER he turns around.

Like it's not the worst thing they've done recently I'm sure, but it just feels so notably bad on execution and foreshadowing.

Uncharted 1-3 - Incredibly charming and well made. 1 is the lowest on the priority in most areas (still charming enough to be enjoyable), 2 is one of the best games ever, and 3's great but has worse pacing than 2 at the expense of slightly improved gameplay.

Yakuza 3-4 - Games with big stories and beat-em-up fighting engines. Gameplay-wise, think something like a modern River City Ransom. Usually compared to Shenmue, but it's a lot more focused and has a way more competent fighting system that's used more often too.

Infamous 1-2 - Sandbox superhero game, main character's powers are based on electricity. Uses them for mainly third person stuff, but has a lot for moving around and all that too. This is another instance where 2's a huge improvement on 1 in every area, yet 1 was pretty decent.

Valkyria Chronicles - A weird mix that comes out as third person tactical RPG. Takes place in a WWII-esque setting, your characters are a squad in a country's militia army. Each individual character's got their own unique things and classes like an SRPG, you choose which ones you want to take, and each turn you select which unit you want to move to let them move in real time. Introduces new types of obstacles and enemy types almost every fight, eventually ramping up to be more ridiculous situations than later Advance Wars fights.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - If you're into the series, you pretty much need to get it. Good game, a lot of content to it, and capped the series off really well.

Dark Souls - Demon's Souls can be a bit polarizing, but Dark Souls uses more or less the exact same gameplay and style with more polish to it. This was my personal GOTY 2011, Huge world absolutely filled with content, great art direction, gameplay's really tight, and so on.

Melia is great to play as too. You gotta know how to keep those orbs for buffs you most want/need, time the reflection, can spec her for all sorts of stuff. Can make herself or others into beasts in any party, in ways the AI just never manages.

Brodus is boring, not that good a wrestler, and has been doing this crap too long and pushed too hard over people he has no business going over. He's gone nowhere with the gimmick.

Ryback has done nothing but squash literal nobodies so I don't remotely care about him. No personality either. Titus and Darren in the like 3 appearances they've had recently are way more entertaining.

Lord Tensai is Sodom from Final Fight.

I second Wild Arms series as a whole, if only because as this topic shows, every single one of them has the potential of being your favorite in one way or another depending on your tastes.

Also second Infinite Space, I absolutely loved that game. Given B8's got a ton of fans of Mecha anime and Mass Effect, finding things in the setting of Infinite Space that they'd like isn't hard at all. Loads of customization, content, and great story/characters.

Meh, Wild Arms 5 was like the 2nd worst game in the series to me! If you wanted good gameplay from the series, XF's the one to go for and that outdoes WA5 on story and music too. Any case, mine are:

Yakuza 2 (PS2)
Bionic Commando (PC/PS3/360, the 3D one)
Infamous 2 (PS3)

Mainly because Yakuza 2 nails what the Yakuza series is good at really well, but is better as an introduction than 3-4 because the pacing is a lot faster and delivers on some amazing action and characterization upfront, so it does a great job at getting you invested into the later games.

Bionic Commando was incredibly fun, the swinging system is the most fluid one I've seen in a game and gives you some insane mobility, and the gameplay mixups between shooting, melee, throwing, and taking advantage of your mobility in huge environments just make this gameplay-wise the best third person shooters I've ever played.

And Infamous 2 just seemed to get sorta forgotten due to being an early year release and the late year AAA titles just eclipsed everyone's thoughts on what came out that year. Improved on pretty much every single aspect of the first game.

ZoE2 is a game of monumentally bad level design for an extensively long amount of time into it. I don't know if it ever really redeemed itself, I can't even remember anything after the stupid ****ing invisible minefield you have to navigate via someone saying "a bit more right" "too far right! turn left some more!" while having to still find a way to dash to do the multi-lock on laser on swarms of enemies.

It is like scientifically designed to be the least amount of fun possible despite the actual gameplay mechanics being incredibly good and capable of a lot of fun.

Man, how is the former "perfect" at all. It sounds pretty typical or generic, I get no sense of style or context whatsoever to associate it to. Nothing at all about it stands out, especially the fact that Algus is stuck arguing with someone with the writing style, incoherence, and exclamation point overuse of a 10-12 year old on a message board.

The latter does a much better job to the both of them, which makes the point made a lot more relevant.

I was expecting it to lead somewhere, but it did nothing to Jericho psychologically or anything, it may as well have just been "Jericho taunts CM Punk, CM Punk punches him in face" except it had a lot of drawn out filler that didn't influence the end of it at all.

Pretty bad raw. I only really liked Daniel Bryan and Paul Bearer showing up.

How?

After melting it and trying to pour it, it somehow leaked out of the thing and all over my hand.

Hurt worse than anything, made my hand swell up at least double it's size, and I couldn't even let water touch it without it feeling like it was burning. Bending anything on that hand was out of the question for a few weeks.

For reference, other painful things I've had that come to mind are being swarmed by ground bees and stung by all of them and a recent marble sized tumor in the knee that made bending my leg or wearing jeans almost impossible. Oddly enough, the surgery to get it out wasn't even as painful as a regular dentist checkup.

probably when I split my chin open but I barely remember it, for what's more fresh in my memory injuries to the fingers and toes tend to be the worst, I've had internal organ failure that's less painful than ****ing a toe or finger up, human body doesn't have it's priorities straight...

All about the nerves, your hands and feet are made to feel and touch things so they hurt the most.

Peanut butter on one piece of bread, spread it, wipe extra on other piece of bread. Strawberry jam on the other piece of bread, spread it. Make sandwich. Easy.

If I'm packing for keeping it in a sandwich bag for outdoor trips or lunch on the go, I spread peanut butter on both sides thinner than usual and then just add the jelly on one or the other to a regular amount. Keeps the bread from getting soggy and all.

So you're saying if someone is toppled, and you use another move that dazes/topples on them, it's a damage multiplier?

edit: or are you just saying it adds more topple time on top of the original topple time

More topple time on the original topple time, but in a chain attack, using the same color attacks increases the multiplier to the side, which likewise multiplies the amount of damage each attack in that chain attack does. Talent arts (white) count as any and all colors, so it can link together, say, a green-green-white-red-red to make that final red be x5 damage instead of having been reset by color changing.

And each topple that you stack on will increase the party gauge a bit more iirc, since it's a successful secondary effect.

Best way to continue the attacks is just put everything into Shulk for that one Chain Link skill he has, and be sure to link it to every party member in battle. With high affinity and that, 6+ attacks per chain attack around endgame is common, and stuff like a x5 Blossom Dance will end up doing like half a boss's health and then some.

And Dunban dodges like a champ!

But yeah, you don't need to even use the party gauge for reviving, just chain attacks. You can stick enemies in loops of topple/daze really easily since each extra topple/daze attack after break stacks the time on top of one another.

So, best tactic always ended up being use chain attack to break them, then build up multiplier with consecutive topple moves, use a talent art when you're out of topple/green moves to keep the multiplier, and finish it off with more talent artes or red moves to take advantage of the ridiculous multiplier and damage.

And the cool thing is that each move in a chain attack still increases party gauge (including the topple/daze ones), and the topple/daze/whatever you do while they're still knocked down afterwards will boost it up too. By the time they're up, you'll probably have 2/3 party gauge refilled.

Also, looking at the last page, totally change up your party a lot. Everyone is completely usable, and it was a lot of fun to me to try playing as each one and all. You get a ton of different dialogue too, since every combination of three all have specialized in-battle quotes too. And of course, they all have different banter when accepting quests, and it helps build affinity.

If anything, Sharla ended up being my least used character. Doesn't do a lot of damage, lots of recharge, healing wasn't all that necessary when you had Shulk, Riki, or Melia covering it and used chain attacks well, and she likewise doesn't build up party gauge much at all to let you use more chain attacks.

I usually found Dunban or 7th to be highest DPS thanks to the 5x multiplier in chain attacks with their talent artes. Absolutely obscene damage on those.
