Besides entering Banjo pics obsessively for the past contests and never getting them accepted, it's the first year I actually ventured out of the Banjo territory. I'm of the opinion that my best pic didn't get accepted ), but it might be the Peach syndrome (I'm biased since editing Zero's art to look similar to X's art style was very time-consuming).

With all those qualities in mind, I decided one day a few months ago that it would be a great album to stick on at a small party I was hosting. And my musically illiterate friends got bored and turned it off before Glass Jar had even really started.

I feel like I'm the only one who really liked the Wind Temple. Sweet music, sweet boss, Makar's cool, and I liked the wind gust crap as it didn't overstay its welcome. Pressing a button to equip/unequip the Iron Boots isn't even a bother.

I'm liking this week a lot so far. Also, this song is amazing, thanks for bringing it back to my memory. Though it sounds different I think? Whatever. It's still great, and the sudden change is so full of emotion.

The National - I Need My Girl
Matt is so damn classy. I remember when I saw The National live early this year, and he got on stage with a glass of wine, never losing his cool. Then he got to Abel and Mr. November and he destroyed the glass, destroyed the whole damn bottle and bounced around stage like a madman. Good times. I think ND put it best: this is a song by The National. There's not a single song in their discography I don't at least like, and this one is so heartfelt.

I really am not wordy today. Nice song as expected from Massive Attack. I only have listened to Mezzanine but this is sweet too, so I might as well check out the rest of their work. They were in my area not too long ago, but it was too expensive. ):

Kanye West - The Glory
I remember when my friend bought this album as soon as it released and was like "man you gotta check this out". I wasn't actually huge on Kanye back then (not now either, but I like his stuff), so I brushed her off. I guess I missed out. I would later catch up and listen to most of his albums, but this one... it just never struck me as anything special. The sample isn't one of the most, uh, pleasant either. I suppose I should go and read the lyrics, but eh. >_>

Lydia - Now The One You Once Loved Is Leaving
I have a song from this album in my library. Think it came in a playlist or something, who knows. I like how the first YouTube comment is "I like this and I'm a guy". Really? This isn't even a girly song. The songwriting reminds me of like a million bands; right now Deas Vail comes to mind. Man, this sure dragged on for a while. It stopped being interesting like 4 minutes in. :/

Radio Moscow - Luckydutch
For the most part this just existed. Sweet playing and all, but it's missing something. Like they seem to be playing for the sake of picking up a guitar and play it, and it sounds OK, but it lacks that... "something". Like it doesn't have any soul behind it.

Braids isn't that much like MPP-era Animal Collective. I mean, yeah, it's similar, and I'll be damned about the album cover not being similar, but Animal Collective is like... much more insane. Braids seems to follow more "traditional" song structures, too. Their synths are pretty different, and there's a more "haunting" song to it. I'd say it's the lovechild of MPP and Water Curses with a lamer vocalist (seriously, girl has nothing on Avey's pure energy and Panda's weird-ass choir attempts or whatever the **** he does).

that said it's still a cool album imo >_>

Oh, also, best part about Oneirology is the album cover. Not saying the album is bad by any means, but damn what a cover.

You should! SMRPG is a classic, Paper Mario is great and spawned some decent sequels, and while the M&L series starts off slow, PiT and BIS are well worth playing

I get the impression that if it was, I don't know, Arcanine breathing fire in the Blue side, nobody would be complaining about Hitmonlee. Red had access to any of the 151 Pokémon and it's pretty awesome to get Hitmonlee in a match pic, imo. Not to mention it works great.
