Personally would have chosen The Rock for star of No Way Out, but it's all good.

Anyway, only two championships change between NWO and WrestleMania X8. First, Billy and Chuck defeat Tazz and Spike Dudley to win the Tag Team titles. Then, taking advantage of a hurt Maven, Goldust brings the 24/7 Hardcore rule back into play winning his first Hardcore Championship. Al Snow wins the belt a week before WMX8, but loses it back to Maven the following SmackDown!

Christian gets his first win in months with help of encourager Diamond Dallas Page in a match against Chuck Palumbo. Christian thanks DDP by turning heel merely seconds later and hitting an Unprettier.

Also, just 24 hours after becoming #1 contender, Kurt Angle is forced by Ric Flair to put his title shot on the line against HHH in a match without Stephanie involved. Trips gets the easy win, and the stage is set for Jericho/Hunter! Oh, and something about an epic encounter between Rock and Hogan >_>

So far we're agreeing on almost everything since 2000, though I'd have given 2001's ppv WotY to Kurt Angle instead of Austin.

Actually I think that was the best they could have done with the way they set it up.

I'm partially aware of that; just didn't like the idea of this match from the very beginning, and it got even worse when they added the "Ace is fired if he loses" stip, cause that pretty much solidified his win. I mean, the OTHER scenarios we could have had were...

- Cena wins, Ace is fired, new GM rehires Big Show out of sympathy, and we're left with nothing to lean on
- What we just saw, which will lead to Cena/Show XXXVI, but at least Ace keeps his status

In the end, this was the one match where I honestly thought there was no good way for it to end. Big Show turning heel was predicted when he was being forced to apologize for mocking Ace.

On the other hand, Punk/Bryan was great, the fatal four-way was pretty good, and Christian/Cody was a good watch as well.

7/10 for the ppv.

Forgot about checking on this, hence my late arrival. I can add a few cents on a couple things, first with 2001 and Wrestlecrap's Hall of Fame.

Amazingly enough (I think), not a single event in the final 3 months of WCW got inducted into the Wrestlecrap Hall of Fame. However, the Worst (or ****er) of the Year award went to the entire InVasion angle from beginning to end! Most notable thing I remember the article saying is how Survivor Series was basically...

Austin: While he was a WCW star, it was WWF that made him who he is
Angle: Never wrestled in WCW
Booker T: Big WCW star
Rob Van Dam: Big ECW star
Shane McMahon: Duh

And of course the WWF, which had 3 guys who were never in WCW, and 2 guys who might have had halfway decent careers in WCW, but their big time came in the WWF. And there's still the fact that hardly anyone that came over from WCW/ECW was made to look legit.

Other 2001 inductees into the WrestleCrap Hall of Fame include...
- Stalker DDP, the DDP that ignored his super-hot wife Kimberly in favor of stalking Undertaker's below-average wife
- Attitude Era Christmas Party. Basically the end-of-year X-Mas shenanigans, which involved two separate parties (a face party hosted by Flair and a heel party hosted by Vince), Bubba Claus vs. Tajiri Claus, Stacy and Torrie dressed in hot Santa clothes and wrestling in mud, Austin and Kane playing guitar together for a split second, and Mae Young sabotaging Vince's party. Somehow they crammed all this into two hours, along with a solid WWF title match between Rock, Jericho, and Angle.
- Drew Carey in the Royal Rumble. (Best quote: "You can tell this is done in 2001, cause if Drew Carey was looking for the master of ppvs now, he'd have Dana White's number on speed-dial")
- WWE superstars on The Weakest Link, where Booker T thought Thanksgiving was in October, and (like everything else) Triple H wins in the end when the final two are him and Stephanie!
- Moppy, Perry Saturn's final companion in the WWF
- The XFL, Vince's sports league that completely flopped in its first and only year.

I work in a Pharmacy now, so I rarely get dumb **** like this anymore. Every once in awhile, one might complain about the price of a prescription, stating that *insert insurance here* should make it much cheaper, and 99 times out of 100, a simple fix in the system will change the price. It happens. Some complain about having to show ID to get particular items, but that's due to a state law that's been active in NC since March, so they can get over that. Otherwise, the job is content.

Working in an electronics department for 3 years, on the other hand, THAT got old really quick. Dealt with customers who were either old, rude, sexist, dumb, or all of the above. I'll never forget when one of my female coworkers tried to help a guy out in the video game section, but he kept dismissing her and wanted to speak to a male customer instead. Guy ends up getting put in his place when she brings over the only male associate that doesn't play video games.

The last time North Carolina changed their constitution was to ban interracial marriage, which to this day is still banned by their constitution.
