Just watched Epidemiology.

Definitely the most "ridiculous" episode so far, but it worked extremely well. Chang x Shirley hooking up was hilarious. Troy's costume was great (even better when it breaks). Just an all around fantastic episode.

2000 years have passed since a war broke out and devastated the Earth. Since then, society has been rebuilt to late 1800's/early 1900s levels of technology.

Prior to the downfall of society much of humanity lived on the moon. Waiting for the time when the earth would be recovered enough to go back, they bide their time. Occasionally they send scouts to Earth, to observe the conditions and report progress made. The story begins when a young boy and two others are sent to earth as scouts. On his first day on earth, the boy nearly drowns in a river, only to be saved by two young girls who were near by.

The girls are the daughters of a wealthy mine owner. To the boy's surprise, one of the girls looks exactly like the queen of the moon. Anyway, the mine owner takes a liking to the boy and hires him on as their chauffeur.

Some time passes and the boy begins to fully integrate into Earth's society. Unknown to him though, the Queen of the Moon has decided to begin the migration back to Earth. Negotiations between the various leaders of Earth and the Moon have been going south, with the various territories refusing to give any land to the Moon Migrants. Deciding that negotiations have fallen through, the people of the Moon begin their migration by force. The people of Earth are completely outmatched in terms of technology, and initially the moon migrants are able to quickly gather a bit of territory. However, their advance is halted when the main character finds advanced weapons from Earth's dark past. Torn between his new home and his loyalty to the queen of the moon, he seeks balance between the Earth and the Moon.

And in any case, I hear Stan Lee is rather fond of it. And yeah, it is pretty much responsible for the robots in Power Rangers.

And honestly, the show itself isn't that bad. I mean, it's got some of that 1970s Japanese camp, but it's charming rather than off putting

Fundamentally, it's very much like other Tomino Gundams. You have:

- Space politics
- giant robots fighting other giant robots
- general "war is bad" message

However, it is the setting that really makes it stand out IMHO. It's general atmosphere is like post-industrial revolution esque setting. I know that turns some people off, but I thought it worked rather well. There is quite a bit more story outside of robot fights as well.

Just finished season 1. Best comedy ever. I've even warmed up to Brita Filter. Once they started doing stuff besides Jeff/Brita tension, she became SO much better.

I for one thought her idea for an april fools prank was cute >_>

Subbers spell it as "Kamil", but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be "Kamille", as in the character from Zeta gundam. Flit was the one who spoke that line, and the voice actor who plays Flit was Jerid in Zeta >_>

Pretty good episode! Especially once Desil and Flit began fighting.

Sorry to disagree with you, Granzon, but this show was a masterpiece. I'm not the biggest fan of its mobile suits, but everything else was top notch to me. I loved the cast (SO happy Guin made it to the end, even after his heel turn).

There was just so much to like about this show. It had a very charming art style, very interesting tone. Above all else, I loved the characters. Literally ALL of them. My favorite is probably Dianna/Kihel (let's face it, they're pretty much the same character, especially towards the end). Harry Ord is the best Char since Char. Guin was probably the best character in the franchise.

I love that Loran and Gym's rivalry came down to a sword fight. Very much reminiscent of 0079. The ending beyond that was a bit confusing though. Loran goes off to live a sexless relationship with Dianna, Kihel became Queen of the Moon so that her and Harry could be together, Sochie is alone and misses Loran (poor Sochie). Fran had a kid with Joseph. Kieth had a kid with Baker chick. But what of Guin. He's seen sailing a ship with Merrybell. But where are they going? No doubt he'll be successful where ever he goes. "You have your whole life to become successful".

So yeah, pretty awesome series.

Rick and Shane are alone in a field. Shane pulls a gun on Rick. Rick talks him down, but then when he's close enough he stabs him in the stomach, screaming that Shane made him do this.

Rick sits there crying for a moment. Then Carl walks up to him. He starts crying when he sees Shane. Rick starts walking towards Carl, saying something like "it's not like it looks" or something generic like that. Carl pulls a gun on Rick. Rick tells him to put the gun down. Carl fires, killing Zombie Shane
