While many thought that Brock Lesnar's meeting with UFC President Dana White could be a way of adding fuel to his WWE story of quitting and suing WWE, WWE did not mention Lesnar's appearance at the UFC 146 event. The latest word is that there is no involvement from WWE's end of Lesnar attending UFC events this past weekend.

It is believed that Lesnar made the decision on his own to attend UFC to both add intrigue to his WWE story and to make a "power play" with the two companies. When Lesnar met with Dana White, he did bring up the idea of working with the UFC.

In the past, Dana White has had no interest in working with Lesnar or anyone in professional wrestling as long as they are signed to a wrestling contract.

- Brock Lesnar did meet with Dana White following the UFC 146 PPV event in Las Vegas. Word is that the meeting didn't go over well. It is felt that if Lesnar's UFC appearance is mentioned on Raw that the whole thing is a way of advancing his WWE storyline, where he has "left the promotion."

UPDATE: Dana White had the following to say about Brock Lesnar's appearance at UFC 146 and the possibility of a return to the UFC:

On Brock's appearance at the show: "He was here. I think that says it all."

On how the appearance came about: "He texted me and said, 'I want to come to the fight, but keep it quiet because I don't want to tell anybody. He said, 'What are you doing tonight? ... I want to talk face to face.' You never know with him. He might want to come back. He might just want to hang out."

On Lesnar's MMA status: "I still think Brock Lesnar is one of the top guys in the heavyweight division. Is he in the top five? I don't know. We'll see."

On whether Brock could work with both UFC and WWE: "I think people get it now with Brock. Brock is a huge WWE star and huge UFC star. He's accomplished at both. ... He went back to the WWE. There's no secret. I think people get it. There's nothing fake going on here. It's real. They get it."


ORIGINAL: As reported earlier, Brock Lesnar was in attendance at UFC 146. At the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White stated that Lesnar, who retired after a TKO loss to Alistair Overeem in December, may make a comeback to mixed martial arts. White noted he is scheduled to meet with Brock on Saturday night.

After retiring from MMA in December, Lesnar made his return to WWE on April 2. On WWE television, they are currently running a storyline involving Lesnar quitting the popular pro wrestling organization. Reportedly, White said he wouldn't be opposed to Brock returning to the UFC while still performing in WWE.

In eight mixed martial arts fights, Lesnar compiled a 5-3 record, winning the UFC heavyweight championship in his fourth fight and defending it twice. He lost his last two fights before announcing his retirement.
