The Deep Web (also called the Deepnet, the Invisible Web, the Undernet or the hidden Web) refers to World Wide Web content that is not part of the Surface Web, which is indexable by standard search engines.
It should not be confused with the dark Internet, the computers that can no longer be reached via Internet, or with the distributed filesharing network Darknet, which could be classified as a smaller part of the Deep Web. Mike Bergman, founder of BrightPlanet,[1] credited with coining the phrase,[2] has said that searching on the Internet today can be compared to dragging a net across the surface of the ocean: a great deal may be caught in the net, but there is a wealth of information that is deep and therefore missed. Most of the Web's information is buried far down on dynamically generated sites, and standard search engines do not find it. Traditional search engines cannot "see" or retrieve content in the deep Web—those pages do not exist until they are created dynamically as the result of a specific search. The deep Web is several orders of magnitude larger than the surface Web. Contains around 90% of the internet. Gots lots of illegal things in it (drugs, CP, hitmen, etc). What this board needs more of
- Social topics. Post more about your love life, what you did while drunk last night, any "hypotheticals" (such as would you give up your right eye to save 10,000 random people in Africa). These are the crux for any successful social board. CE has many of these and they are thriving. - Current events. You guys need to be more informed about the world. I recommend checking bbc.com or any other news source for events that are occurring all over the world. Feel free to make topics on them so we can debate this! Topics like this are way more important and acceptable than ranking VG music or doing another goddamn "Save My" contest. Posting etiquette: This is actually a huge problem here. Many users are arbon copies of each other in thier posting styles. Posting in all lowercase like Tranny of Not Dave makes you look like a bumpkin and destroys any credibility you have. Additionally, you'll post things like "leave" "get out" "die in a fire" "close your account" Do you guys think this is funny? So many users here have the same posting style and it's why this board is in the crapper. Starting now, you have to post like civilized people. No more all lowercase. No more 16 year old "wit" either. By 16 year old wit I mean posting "you suck" when a poster you don't like makes a topic. Protip - you ain't cool. I know this seems like a lot but if you actually try to follow some of my advice, you'll see a big turnaround in the quality of this board. Starting now, the following topics are banned
- Any "Save My" contests. You guys jumped the shark with "Save My Favorite FFX moment". Seriously. No more. - Any music ranking topics. Nobody cares how YOU rank random pieces of music. Especially VG/Anime music. These topics are sad for all parties involved (Both the people who make them as well as the people who participate). - Any "My Top 10/50 favorite characters/games" topics. Who cares how your rankings have changed? Stop being vain. - Useless "ATTN" topics. When I see PUN making an "ATTN Weakupedia" topic and then just saying something like "Ima gonna smoke ya boy!", that ruins the integrity of this board. - Wrestling topics. Wrestling is FAKE. I am shocked when I see wrestling topics - I did not realize anyone over 10 actually watched it. - Dumb topics. This should be self-explanatory but stuff like that one guy ranking all 426 survivor contestants. I mean, really? How do you have this much time on your hands? - Any My Little Pony topics Starting now, the following topics are limited - Playthrough topics. 1 per person or 1 per game. If Ulti wants to do a Fire Emblem playthrough topic, he certainly can. Just as long as he doesn't make another several playthrough topics. Also, one one playthrough topic is needed. So under my plan for the board, Leonhart would be banned from making a Fire Emblem playthrough topic for at least 6 months after Ulti finishes his. - Anime topics. There should only be ONE topic for anime. It can be a mega-topic where anything anime related goes in there. - Video game news topics. Whether you want to admit it or not, the video game industry industry is a dying industry. Nintendo recently lost billions and Sony is staving off bankruptcy. With that said, this is still a video game site so three topics will be allowed relating to gaming news. One for Sony, one for Nintendo, and one for Microsoft. When a new game or new news is announced, put it in the appropriate mega-topic. Don't clutter the board with that nonsense. - Sports topics. You guys are actually fairly good about this one but just remember to keep one for basketball, hockey, football etc. - Contest topics - The front page contests are dead at this point. You can keep your Stats and Discussion topic but its time to limit discussion to that topic only. -- If Justin Bieber is your hero, repost this in your sig |

This board is down to just 6 pages. CE has 60 pages. Additionally, the topics here are awful and as grown men you should be embarrassed to participate in them. By following my plan, this board can heal itself but you're going to have to act fast. Don't just act in denial and post "Strahax" five times. The time has come to grow up. Actually read what I have to say because I am smarter than you all.

Just played some more. I got to the part where the old lady randomly turned into a monster. And lo and behold, the game cheats and I died. I mash "A" a few times and then it swings its arms and I take damage. After I died I slammed the GameCube off and said "I'm done with this s***"
