generally you make an amount of money because that's the value of the work you do. if you can do more valuable work in the same amount of time, your time is worth more. whether you feel this is fair or not is irrelevant.

Time for some controversial opinions.

I really don't like people who have never drank, unless they're allergic to alcohol or have some condition that makes drinking very problematic.

Now it's not because drinking is good or fun or something that everybody needs to do... it's pretty dumb and it's not something that I particularly enjoy doing myself. But not even trying something that plenty of people enjoy because you've seen or heard it have some negative effects on others just seems weak to me. It's like they don't have enough faith in themselves to think that they would be able to handle it and just have a good time without going overboard and doing something stupid.

But I guess that feeling doesn't really have anything to do with drinking and it's more about people who don't like trying new things.

That's a really entitled opinion to have.

Somebody who works 40 hours a week doing manual labor at $7.25 probably needs the free time more than somebody who makes $15.50 an hour sitting around doing data entry on a computer, for instance. So I wouldn't expect the $15.50er to say their free time is somehow worth more.

nobody sells regular ones and i'm all out. kinda sucks when i'm on thieves guild or dark brotherhood quests! i suppose the upside is that it stops me from raising one of my major skills and getting even more screwed by level scaling.

given that he's more experienced in protecting the realm from evil abominations i'm pretty sure people are more likely to support him

song of ice and fire novels given his birth in the books, there's also a decent chance that in oblivion's setting he's the emperor's illegitimate son in kvatch. i haven't advanced the main story enough to see how that plays out, but i wouldn't be surprised if i was completely screwed here

Now instead of easy fire demons whose only difficulty is no arrow recovery, I've got giant monsters who laugh at my arrows and kill me in a couple of hits.

My nearly maxed stealth doesn't seem too useful in this fiery demon plane either. Whoops.

nintendo decides to demonstrate how big the screen is on their new revision of the system. for kicks, they do mention a circle pad will be for it too but nobody knows how big this monster can get.

samsung just flat out forces its version of its phone on all 4 major carriers and makes 'em almost exactly the same while delivering an advertising push that's insane... but will result in one hell of a success story.

google, to introduce a product for the first time to the public, demonstrates it by literally having a guy jump out of a plane in what can only be described as a real life google version of mission impossible.
