Thanks but I'm just gonna trudge through. I'm unemployed right now so what do I have better to do? Back in the day I dropped the comic somewhere in the 60's and only picked it back up around the Iron Dominion so I'm reading most of this for the first time. Christ, glad I dropped it when I did .

I'm reading through all the Archie Sonic comics as well. I read through all of Knuckles and now I'm on issue 86 of StH. It's been close to unreadable since they started with all the Sonic Adventure crap. Please someone tell me it not continuously terrible until Ian takes over. That's in like 75 issues and I can't handle much more of these ****** storylines with terrible dialogue.

I honestly feel that Sonic is a legit good comic now. Not amazing, but good and great compared to what it used to be. I've never been into comics but when DC's the New 52 came out I thought that it would be a good place to try to get into them. I picked up a couple Sonic comics on one of my trips to the comics store just for the hell of it. I was amazed at how much better it was in terms of art and story compared to when I stopped reading around issue #60 when i was like 11. I hope you're including Sonic Universe in this readthrough cuz they are pretty great too! -- I use antlers in ALL of my decorating. |

The difference in difficulty is negligible. I don't even consider it by difficulty when I choose the artifact. It's more of a health, sanity, magick sort of thing by the artifact you choose.
That HVGN video was laughable too. He kept complaing of the sanity but wouldn't heal his sanity through magick. The "unavoidable" attack is easily sidestepped. There is an obvious indication of when you can perform a finishing attack: the zombie glows while it wriggles on the ground. The combat IS the bad part about the game but not because it's bad or hard or frusterating. They are just uninteresting, simple and easy. I think the dude is just bad at games because the choices he was making while fighting were real dumb. I've honestly never had a hard time with the combat. Not even in Edward's level which is the most combat heavy. -- I use antlers in ALL of my decorating. |
