A drunk squirrel was caught on camera struggling to stand after eating fermented pears left on a picnic table outside a house in Minnesota.

Footage taken last Friday, shows the woodland creature perched on a miniature picnic table outside a house in Inver Grove Heights.

The squirrel is spotted munching on corn and seeds when it suddenly gets a dazed, petrified look in its eyes and leans oddly to the side.

The tipsy animal uses the edge of the little blue bowl to suddenly catch its balance, but it begins to drift backwards again while staring into the sky.

After the strange episode, the creature eventually finds its way back to the bowl of food and continues eating.

The owner of the house, Kathleen Morlok, said the saga began when she cleaned out her refrigerator on Friday.

"I found a very old bag of pears in the bottom. Instead of throwing them away, I threw two onto our deck for Hamlet," Kathleen told DailyMail.com, referring to the family's pet pig.

"I did not realise that he left one under the table outside until I saw the little red squirrel happily grab the whole thing and run away with it into the trees."

The co-founders of id Software, John Romero and Tom Hall, joked back and forth on Twitter today after confirming a bit of long-rumored piece of lore: Wolfenstein's BJ Blazkowicz is the grandfather of Commander Keen, and Keen himself the father of the Doom Marine, or DoomGuy.

The discussion started in December, when John Romero posted an innocuous tweet saying that BJ was based on Commander Keen, the star of the early 90s space-faring sidescrollers starring youngster Billy Blaze as he defends Earth from aliens. A fan caught that tweet and took the question to id co-founder Tom Hall asking if this lineage extends all the way to id's other favorite son, the Doom Marine.
Hall was fairly clear: "The lineage isn't a theory. Fact."

Romero and Hall then had a bit of back and forth over the revelation, establishing a backstory for the missing generation between William and his grandson. Hall explained that Keen's father was "an awesome, heroic...newscaster" who went by the stage name of Billy Blaze, explaining where the younger Keen got his new last name from.

So that explains it, id's heroes are actually just one big family that is really, really good at killing things.

Porky Pig and Daffy Duck probably wont be heading for a career in real estate, as seen in a new preview clip from the forthcoming theatrical release The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.

Director Pete Browngardts sci-fi comedy from Warner Bros. Animation is set to hit theaters domestically later this year but does not yet have an announced release date. The project focuses on Porky and Daffy (both voiced by Eric Bauza) learning that aliens are plotting to overtake the planet, which leads the pair to put their differences aside and help save the world.

The sequence shows the Looney Tunes mainstays cutting countless corners while attempting to prepare their home ahead of an inspection. Well, Porky, were all finished, Daffy says triumphantly. Heres to passing this inspection and living another year just the way we like it.

This leads a conflicted Porky to hesitantly respond, Yeah, just the way we like it.

Toward the end of the clip, Daffy attempts to assuage Porky as the inspector arrives. Dont worry, chum, Daffy says. Ill handle thus middle-aged busybody.

The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie is set to premiere Tuesday at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The film marks the first fully animated Looney Tunes feature to debut with a theatrical run.

The films release follows Warner Bros. decision not to release Coyote vs. Acme, a hybrid of live-action and CG animation centering on Looney Tunes favorite Wile E. Coyote and starring John Cena and Will Forte. The Hollywood Reporter reported late last year that Warner Bros. planned to shelve the movie for a tax write-off.

A Japanese man who spent thousands of dollars to transform into a dog said that he has changed his mind after realizing it's hard to walk like a dog.

Toco spent $14,000 on a custom-made rough collie costume in 2022 in order to fulfill his lifelong fantasy of 'becoming an animal.'

He waited for 40 days as the special suits and makeup company Zeppet finished his 'ultra-realistic' dog costume in 2022, before finally being able to live his dream.

But now, he has revealed that the challenges of moving like a dog have made him consider imitating other animals.

In May 2020, Stratton released a statement on Reddit, saying that Gordon was given extensive time to mix the tracks and repeatedly delayed progress, missed deadlines, and refused to respond to emails or phone calls. According to Stratton, when Gordon did not complete the mixing before the soundtrack release deadline and refused to provide id with the source files as contractually required, Stratton suggested he collaborate with Mossholder. Gordon agreed and sent Mossholder about 12 finished tracks. Mossholder mixed and edited the remaining songs together from in-game assets, which were more heavily compressed to compensate for the other in-game audio. Stratton later wrote that although id had intended to continue working with Gordon, they would use a different composer in the future.
