I've always heard the Wiki people are really hyper-focused on Wiki and keeping it as relevant and reliable as possible, so I doubt they'll buckle here. I can't imagine this is the first hate campaign from the right.

Pixels seem to have a loose issue with bricking themselves. When I bought my new phone, I tried to wipe my Pixel 6A so I could give it away, and for some reason, its a regular issue for the Pixel 6A to brick itself when formatting.

I think if a school is going to require a uniform, they should also be required to provide at least one.

Though I think schools would probably benefit being a little less digital, not more. But at least providing the computers is better than requiring students to get them themselves.

SAOA is my favorite though and I'm personally hoping they get the new episode out of copyright jail.

YGA is like, one episode a year at this point - it seems like dude is gonna take another decade to finally finish it, but hes gonna finish it.

In terms of why like it? Because it was taking a product that was popular and putting in some super basic jokes that were super funny to me as a 12-year old, and then slightly matured into something with similar stupid jokes, but Im not ashamed to listen to.

But really, I dont know, the weird world of the internet in like 2007 was a vibe. Its hard to really be able to justify liking something like an abridged series. It was stupid and dumb and a relic of its time, but DBZA and YGA both just kept going on and on for so long its this weird exception to modern internet culture. I think thats pretty cool and worth supporting watching a video every now and then.

I mean, taking a weird meta spin is at least an interesting take on a silly B-horror movie.

I'm always a big fan of cheeky B-movies. If this movie's actually willing to like, commit to the bit it could be really good.

tbf, South Park should be more ashamed Kirk apparently liked his episode a few weeks ago than anything they intend to do to make fun of his painfully ironic death.

Is the Steam deck more expensive? The Switch 2 is way more expensive where I am. You have to fully max out the Steam Deck to come close to buying a Switch 2 here.

This is how GF has done it in the past, though the rewards were way less important than otherwise-exclusive Mega Stones. Basically participation trophies in that if you could do literally one battle, you'd earn it. And the "competitive" VGC used to be a series of month-long events, so I get putting Chesnaught/Delphox later.

GF has already done the exclusive Mega Stone thing, with XY giving early players a free Torchic with Blazikenite (which would otherwise not be available at all until the next games, ORAS). I wouldn't be surprised if this is similar. Honestly I'm surprise GF even cares about a potential online battles with their weird alt battle system from this game. They didn't for PLA.

Probably Silksong - has a bit of an overly punishing early game with a lot of characters that seemingly deal double damage for no reason - which is a lot when you have like 4 life and few of the upgrades and stuff.

A Final Fantasy series where like, each season covers a game or so could be really fun - but I don't have a ton of faith in it. A lot of stuff is exactly the kind of filler that works in a game, because you're actively a part of the story, but wouldn't in a TV/Movie.

Hotline Miami could be fun, in a weird kind of trippy way.

Plants vs. Zombies could be a really fun animated movie. Doubt it has enough to stretch into a full series though.

You could probably do a fun Wolfenstein movie.

I mean, I'm all for this - this isn't really that big of a difficulty lowering to begin with.

I noticed with Hollow Knight some of the things that did double damage didn't really make that much sense, or were sometimes seemingly out of left field, making exploring with 2 points of life unnecessarily nerve-wracking. Which did nothing to make the game more engaging, but more frustrating when I don't have a heal, and just go "well how TF was I supposed to know that would deal double damage?"

And like, who even cares if you aren't a "hardcore gamer" - if you can play well enough to actually have fun and get through the game, a few things doing slightly less damage isn't that big of a deal IMO.

The "story" of Hollow Knight is super vague and mostly set decoration you don't need to worry about, so if you want you can probably jump straight into Silksong.

Supposedly the gameplay of Silksong is different enough that a lot of people are not having fun, because playing the game "hollow knight style" is very punishing. So it might be better to jump straight into Silksong if you haven't played Hollow Knight yet as it is.

But also - Hollow Knight is real good.

I think at least a little of this is on the Rock? I remember the rumours at the time was stuff like "Rock must be the main character" and "Rock can never lose a fight" - and IIRC that's part of the reason he got booted from the Fast/Furious movies.

I think he's right that he's being more limited in those movies, but also largely because he's the main character. As the main character, you need to carry the whole movie, and if that movie costs $200 Million, You aren't gonna be allowed to take many creative liberties.

It's not like Rock doesn't have actual acting chops. Him turning heel when he made a WWE return last year was fantastic, and he has been the lead in a 5-season long HBO show, where he was fine.

That's sort of the difference between Rock's movie career and Cena/Batista's IMO. Cena/Batista are pretty much always the supporting character instead of the main one (and even with stuff like Peacemaker, it started with Cena being a supporting character in Suicide Squad), which gives them a ton more room to do new things and show more range.

I still don't believe Trump will seriously run again. He doesn't need too when he can play kingmaker from behind. He can spend the remainder of his life in luxury doing book talks and MAGA rallys for his cult. By the time his second terms ends he's going to be in his 80s.

Trump isn't going to be willing to ever share the spotlight - that would require everything not being focused on him. The Government running without him and him basically just being there to have everyone tell him he's gooiest most special-es boy is pretty much what he's already doing now.

It's been made clear conservatives don't really care if Trump is mentally there or not. Trump is never leaving the White House. If we're lucky he dies and the whole place falls apart without him, because most other conservatives also can't hide the fact that they're evil monsters, but don't have the relative charisma of Trump to at least distract with being interesting.

Might kick off a spree for new smartphone OSes that never really took off. Samsung used to be trying to get their own unique OS, before they just gave up and kept Android - maybe that'll come back.

ios will never be better than Android. Apple phones by default are at least 3 generations behind any Android phone. Also, just noting that while Google may remove this feature from its play store, Androids can have the option to go 3rd party.

But it isn't Play Store specific - it's Android specific. There aren't alternatives to running Android on your phone.

It's real, it's from multiple different concerts though, apparently, and they think a few scenes might be from real photos but put through an AI image-to-video filter. And then Youtube filtering is also apparently super weird.
