I actually never heard of this back in the day until someone wrote into Nintendo Power about it and they confirmed to the writer that it was canceled. This was sometime in 2000.

There's software out there like SharePod that will let you pull media from an ipod to a computer, and fortunately when you plug one into a computer it will auto-charge.

I actually still have my 40GB from high school (crica 2007) but the battery is so shot on that thing that it'll suddenly drop dead if I skip songs too long. I was able to sell off the 160GB because it was the right generation for the guy I sold it to for modding, but the 40GB is a few generations back.

I actually stopped last year. I had a 160GB ipod I used hooked up to my car for music, but when I traded my '06 Jetta for a '23 Camry, the internal console actually rejected my ipod, I'm guessing due to the OS' age, and caused it to crash every 25 minutes tops.

I sold the ipod to an online buddy with some games for like $200-$250 or so, and eventually stopped driving to music once I had many attempts to get things working not pan out, but I kinda prefer that now. I also never went walking with the thing either because I only ever use over the ear headphones and the ones I used would slide off if I moved my head down.

Final Fantasy using -a to denote a tier 2 spell, -aga for tier 3 and -aja for tier 4 was in use as far back as Final Fantasy 8. I don't remember if 7 used it and I don't think 6 did.

Dark Ixion (an optional superboss) in FFX also uses a spell called Thundaja, although it's actually non-elemental.

Later ports of Final Fantasy 4 (GBA and later I know do) change Cure 4 to Curaja. It's also the only -aja spell in the game as it's the only spell that got a fourth tier of power.
