In my auto deck for the event I would constantly see the AI red card when the opponent had 1 or 2 cards lol

After the first 2 games I'll take the chop any way it comes. Now for a week at home vs some tough opponents.

I couldn't find a decent general doctor in my area, they either don't take new patients or you have to roll the dice on the new young doctor.

I joined a concierge practice, monthly subscription place with a low maximum patient panel, and for me it has been well worth the money. They have an in house pharmacy with cheap af meds, no lines, and can refer me to practically any specialist I need.

In this case they would refer you to a psychologist who will diagnose and get you on meds fairly quickly.

Finally, it is complete! Though I have to say, for the ladders I think fire Eevee Box is better. So many decks are gunning for Espeon and Flareon/Leafeon gobbles those counters all up. Plus its slightly better into the psychic version.

Got the shiny Gyarados Ex from my evening pack! That was actually my top most wanted card from this set.

Hopefully they allow shiny trades, it's kind of bullshit to put an emblem unlock behind getting a specific shiny. The full arts were already pushing it.

This is part of the problem. Even if it's just a protein bar or a banana, eat something. Like others said keep a log of all intake as well. Those snacks add up fast.

Ive opened 80 packs of this new set and have pulled a 6 card pack twice. And still only 5/10 on the Ex cards. This one feels like a slog despite it being my favorite generation.

Yeah I've opened roughly 110 packs and still missing 16 cards from the standard set. I think I've had 4 or 5 of the 6 card baby packs, missing 3 normal ex. The last double pack was a slog as well.

Major changes are coming apparently, probably at anniversary.

It's a close 2nd but DKC2 is still better. 3 was definitely the most challenging to 103% and had the most beautiful SNES graphics though.

Yep just like Pokemon pre made decks.

Been having a much better last few days on the ladders, up to UB3 after starting from GB2. The Don or Silvally/Ori weren't cutting it, but this deck has been smooth sailing. At first I had cape and Mars, but after switching to red card and Silver it took off with win streaks. Disruption is king in this current meta.

This game is clearly trying to go for more of a PS1 aesthetic with crisp low-poly models and textures than the N64's higher-quality animations and geometry with lower-quality textures.

PS1, N64, both are equally as ugly. Just because the sky is hot pink doesn't make it any less ugly.

That era might be retro, but these games are all too ugly to play. I'll just play Banjo or something if I'm in the mood for an ugly N64 3D platformer.

are there people in 2025 who use windows computers without secure boot? its been enabled by default in any pc since like 2015 or earlier it feels like

Secure boot is a mobo function and isn't on by default on many boards. I don't think I've manually turned mine off, it's a 2022 Gigabyte model. Even some custom prebuilts out there don't have it on by default. Stuff that comes from Dell or Lenovo sure, but a lot of gamers don't buy overpriced big brand prebuilts.

I got home late last night, was excited to finally give this amazing looking game a go, and I get hit with the "secure boot must be turned on" message. Apparently the anti-cheat requires it. Is this how EA will ruin what looks to be a good thing?

It's not a tall task for me personally, but for many this will require BIOS updates and if for some reason people are MBR they'll have to convert their drive to GPT, which isn't an easy task for non savvy people. I smell a shitstorm a brewin'.

I give it a solid 8.5 but kind of agree, around layer 1000 the game the loop was getting stale.

I loved the final fight though and the whole sequence.
