Your best option is to cultivate a large group of friends that you hang out with often and not just 1-on-1. If you want to date a coworker (bad idea), construct a friend group that includes them.

This game is clearly trying to go for more of a PS1 aesthetic with crisp low-poly models and textures than the N64's higher-quality animations and geometry with lower-quality textures.

Based on how easily people can cheat and write their papers with AI, I would say that people are made dumb simply by not doing the actual work of learning how to critically deduct, and then communicate specific ideas for others to understand.

If you're willing to put up with a looooooooot of repetition and a very slow start, yes. If I lost all progress where I am now, I would absolutely not put up with the beginning of the game again. The game also looks and feels cheaper and more generic than every other game in the series by a wide margin.

It ends up being similar to Souls games in boss design - struggle until you learn the patterns enough to execute the fight properly then you'll succeed.

I really don't think this is analogous. Even a Souls boss you're really underleveled for will take probably 5 minutes at most. You simply are not given the power to do so in OoE. The crab boss TC is talking about takes closer to 10 minutes even with an optimal setup.

The bosses are super visually impressive, but the entire game feels like trying to cut down a tree with a pocket knife. It does not get much better in that regard.
