Can you explain the pool / water feature? I'm a bit confused. The way it slopes it looks very shallow. Is it just meant to be for aesthetics? Because if so, it's passing there. Just hard to tell if it's really something for swimming.

The pool is 5 feet deep in the deep end. It looks shallow because it simulates a white sand beach. I'm not sure if you've been to one before but I've been to one once in real life and it's super hard to tell the depth in a white sand beach. It always looks pretty shallow because the water reflects the white sand and stays pretty clear to the bottom. You can tell it's getting deeper because the blue gets more intense in that area.

My job is in an unrelated field. I just got the degree because I wanted to do the program to be honest. Having an AAS, BS, and MLIS help my resume but they didn't give me any extra knowledge or skills for my job I have now.

I do make really good money at my job for just me though.

Yeah, it wouldnt massively improve my life, but it would massively improve the lives of plenty of others.

I'd basically just pay off all my debt and live reasonably without working and be able to actually travel. I can afford to live off $50 mil or so the next 30-50 years and give the rest away.

This. I don't really have money problems but money is always a problem with inflation so it'd help to have a huge nest egg.

But also if I won a billion dollar Powerball I'd spend most of it on my community to try to help homeless people with transitional housing and services.

That's the biggest load of bullshit I have ever heard of when it comes to a program like this.

it's really annoying because i don't want this weird spyware spying on me when i'm not even playing the game? it's supposed to only be enabled to take in game screenshots without you seeing but i don't trust that.

i really like that game. i only ever play against bots so i have a lot of fun.

now they have this anti-cheat program they are forcing league players to install called vanguard which apparently is a 0 kernel level program or something and they require you run it 100% of the time your pc is on even when you aren't playing

why would anyone want to do that? apparently the program has a ton of issues and forces your computer to use a ton of resources or is actually bricking peoples' pcs.

that's.. not worth a game?

It only makes sense if they somehow believe it to be intentional vandalism and not just an accident/oversight. That's still a bit of a stretch for a leaky pipe, but it's the only answer I can come up with.

They filed a police report alleging the plumber "worked out of scope" which... Is not something the police can investigate lol it's just a guy working on pipes. He's licensed and made a mistake. It's not a police matter at all

My insured was doing plumbing work and there was a leak. The home owner filed a police report.

I've never had this happen in 10 years of claim handling. Why would you file a police report for that? What is the crime???

yeah one of the main things i don't like about home ownership is that i can't really just pick up and move somewhere else. i have to make serious plans around my house and what to do with it if i want to move to a new city or state.

Idk what kind of basic ass stuff you guys have but mine has several connection points. Either way I'm not installing a huge 40 gallon water heater. That's why people have these jobs so I'll keep them in business.

Not sure where you buy your water heaters. The average cost for a water heater is $1300.

The one I installed is a Ruud Professional model and runs around $1,400 just for the water heater. Maybe you just buy very cheap water heaters.

i haven't been able to introduce him to the pool yet because he is a yeast lord and got a yeasty ear infection. the medication i opted for was one that goes inside his ear canal so he can't get wet for an entire MONTH and i am very sadge
