I bet you have, he has many names, and they will fill whole topics talking to each other.

Change in attitudes, 20 years ago it would have been, "lucky young fella, wish I'd had a teacher like that". More recently it has been acknowledged how damaging such relationships are to the young man.

I've enjoyed it a great deal, the combat is first rate (although a hard mode wouldn't go amiss), the classes are nicely varied, and the world is beautiful.

Sure, you'll never give a stuff about any of the NPCs and the story is threadbare, but the first game wasn't any different on that score.

8/10 for me, but I love DD and especially the pawn mechanic, which likely accounts for the extra point.

Very much hope we get an expansion with new enemies, loot etc at some point.

I dunno, but how many of your alts still have CE access to throw said stones?

Don't know about that, suspect it's quite auteur led rather than focus grouped, and so will have design choices which will probably frustrate some.

Almost certainly my GOTY (I loved the first one) though.

I'm well off enough where $1,000 isn't that much (if it's a one time expense). The tickets can give me the chance at winning much more money than $1,000. And $500-worth of tickets is a lot. So in my particular case, the tickets is actually the better option.

The funny thing about FF8 being so easy is that one boss Adel that seems specifically designed to screw over those that really do follow the path of least resistance (and greatest tedium) by blasting everything with summoned attacks.

Won't get far against final boss that way either.

Not that I don't appreciate the appeal of shooting as a hobby. A day at the range can be an enjoyable experience.(assuming it isn't pissing down and the driving wind at the firing point isn't in the opposite direction to that indicated by the flag at the targets; which accounted for 95% of my range days. Ah well, if it ain't raining it ain't training.)

Archery is probably an easier bet (regulation wise) in the UK, if you seek the dopamine of hitting targets.

Doesn't mean you can't own one, just have to show reason to own it. Pass some security checks, have your gun cabinet inspected etc.

I don't own one either, but my old man used to have a shotgun for game hunting.
