Now I just have to hope that the "Suikoden curse" doesn't apply in that all of the most interesting characters tend to suck.
If you haven't seen it yet, there's a trailer that shows a bunch of different characters, and I'm thrilled that there are so many non-human options, though like you say, I'm praying that they aren't just filler that'll never see the light of play.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45hd-3SeU9A This spoils a LOT of recruitable characters, so watch at your own discretion.

Come in from outside, wearing a jacket. Walk past the hall closet where the jacket belongs because preoccupied. Drop the jacket on the couch because have to attend something. Skip the step where you come back to the jacket and hang it up.

Some guy actually went and built a sheathe you could use from your back. One side is wide open and only a couple of inches at the bottom will fully cover the blade. So you only pull the blade upwards a little to get it out of that part, then pull to the right to bring it around.
Whatever else I might say about Amazons Wheel of Time series, the costumes are really, really good. If you pay close attention, you can see things like Lans scabbard being open like halfway down one side, the leader of the Shienar soldiers traveling with Perrin and Loial has his glaive sheath just covering the edge, essentially, but its clearly for extended traveling carry, not wuickdraw during action.

Im interested to see what some of the short term supply chain impact is here. I have heard that hazardous materials cannot be moved through the tunnel, so once they get the bridge/cargo ship cleaned up enough to let traffic go through again, theyll still have the issue of getting hazmat out of MD. And if they move to the next most likely port, Norfolk, theyll have the same issue of the best shipping route being through a tunnel as well as some manpower concerns.

Check with the store in question before attempting to bring your pet. Many do, especially since a hardware store usually doesnt serve food. If it isnt a service animal, though, consider leaving your pet at home - you never know what kinds of allergies people have.

Most of the time, it worked out pretty painlessly. I was working nights at the time, so Id miss the first run on AMC, but Id get home in time to make something for dinner and then catch the second showing at like 1AM or whatever. There were a couple of nights where I just wanted to sleep and I had to stay disconnected until I managed to get around to watching it the next day, though.

Yeah, its a fully fictional story, but set in the real world. It starts out with a fake computer company thats very much like what early Compaq (I think) may have been like. Might be most appropriate call it historical fiction? But instead of changing one detail and predicting how that would change history, we are viewing the history that did happen through the lens of these made up character/company.

iunno, the events of the film take place in the Fall, right? The lightning strike is in November, at least. There are cooler climates in California. Hill Valley isn't a real city, but the city they wanted to use for filming, Petaluma, has a daily mean temperature in November of 53.9 F. That outfit then probably isn't *super* out there in terms of layering, especially if it's known to be windy and Marty was traveling by skateboard.

If the atmospheric pressure is high enough to keep it liquid, I think it would have a maximum temperature of whatever the heat of vaporization is at that pressure. What I don't know is that happens to something submerged in that kind of energetic mass, assuming they could survive at whatever that temperature is.

No, it's a drama about early computing. Was on AMC or whatever channel aired Breaking Bad initially. It's an incredible show, very well written and performed (especially considering the subject matter). The final season ends with the creation of the modern search engine, but it touches base on some of the problems of early home internet: how do you the sites people create out to the people that want to view them?
