Men are generally hornier and more visual than women and have a higher likelihood of enjoying receiving a dick pic (if they like men). Women tend to not want to see it unless they ask.

People will probably argue with me especially regarding the more visual thing but I think its generally true.

As for why men send them even if theyre generally unwanted, they just get off on someone seeing it.

Eh, I think its more or less true. Not that women arent visual at all, but I just think men are more so. You dont really hear about women addicted to fapping to porn every day like men do. I guess it could just be the male libido in general being a lot higher.

Ignoring the fact that its disgusting behaviour, I think theres a common misconception that for guys their only "attractive" quality is their dick. If a girl likes someone they'll do stuff like post pictures of their butt in their favourite pants/shorts on their story, or a carefully aimed selfie asking what you think of their new lashes that just so happens to show off their cleavage too. Girls are better at marketting themselves while remaining clothed / staying socially acceptable. Guys that go to the gym might try to show off their muscles I guess but other than that a lot of guys dont think they have any way to market themselves so they default to the dicks.
