Well, since I finished Made in Abyss I decided to go back to trying a completely random anime on Crunchyroll, knowing absolutely nothing about it and watching it completely blind. It didn't work out great for Taboo Tattoo, but surely I'd get something better this time around right?

Random button picked....Butareba - The Story of a Man Turned Into a Pig. Which like many isekai tells the general premise in its title, a guy gets transported to another world but as a pig. He meets a girl that he has to help on a journey. First episode, almost gets me to drop it immediately. Of course the guy's an otaku pervert, of course the girl he meets is 16 years old, of course he imagines how being a pig could be used to get closer to the girl. That's basically all that happens in the first episode, but I hold onto the 3 episode rule and decide to keep going. Turns out the first episode is the worst one, it actually starts to be sort of decent in the second episode as things actually start happening. The pervert jokes get tuned down throughout the rest of the season, not completely because of course but it's not to a point where it drowns out the rest of what's going on.

Overall, it's definitely not a great show. I don't think I'd even call it good per se, but it's fine. It's a hell of a lot better than the trash that was Taboo Tattoo, and that's all I really asked for. The main girl in it is a cute character, which helps a lot as she's basically the main protagonist even over the pig guy. The animation isn't particularly great, some of the the scenes are just still shots (especially the epilogue), and sometimes the characters just look off in some scenes. But all in all, I'm glad it got better than what the first episode gave the impression of. I'd rate it like a 6/10.

Finally finished season 2 of Made in Abyss

I liked the first season more but I'd still give this one a 9/10

The whole story between Vueko and Irumyuui was really cool, also pretty horrifying as Made in Abyss excels at. Faputa was a fun character. I'm a little conflicted at Nanachi's whole abandoning everyone for Mitty and sleeping for a few episodes, but she got to see this version of Mitty off on her own terms which was nice.

Hey some of the art is really nice on the art cards, although yea they don't have a use

Saosin > Silverstein > Blessthefall > Asking Alexandria (although their later stuff is not as great) > Motion City Soundtrack > The Wonder Years > Scene Queen > Hawthorne Heights

After that there's some I would still peruse and check out if I'm around, like The Word Alive, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, and Sweet Pill

Yea I have a Gift Bundle coming at the end of the month (the booster box was a birthday gift from my sister otherwise I wouldn't have gotten one), once I open the packs from that I'll just go for any singles I want to build potential decks

I got my box in but didn't pull my boy Vivi (I don't want him because he's good he's just actually my favorite FF character). In terms of value my box wasn't great honestly but it did have overall some cool cards I like in it so I'm happy. I got both regular Torgal and Alternate Art Torgal so that made the box for me.

My highest value card I think was Sephiroth, but it's just regular bordered Sephy.
