Unless I'm dumb when it concerns the wording on it, it doesn't really say anything about repealing that part of the act, just that any pending investigations under it will be assessed.

It does however say that it's aiming to either repeal or amend Title VI, which could still be potentially bad. (Prevents discrimination in programs that receive federal funding)

This solidified a purchase for me for sure.

Also apparently, fans of RPGs who love exploiting knowledge of the game to hit huge damage numbers will LOVE this game.

Really just venting, but just something a part of me wishes could be achieved.

Basically in a vote for LGBTQ+ rights to be given (or reinstated), those that vote against it have to fulfill the following or their vote can legally be dismissed.

1. Write up an essay basically to prove such rights would definitively cause "harm" and without double standards.

2. Any voting against LGBTQ+ rights are to accept a surprise inspection as well as their records being throughly investigated to determine their morality. Even possession of movies with light profanity can legally be used against said voters.

Overall, any who refuses to do both or fail to give a solid reason and demonstration of their own moral standing can legally have their Anti vote dismissed.

Pretty much. But yeah, even if anyone in authority would be willing to make that a policy, it is I suppose morally wrong to issue a purity test.

I get it and am mostly venting, but one could argue the Anti-LGBTQ+ side still get a chance to vote.

Not our fault if they are unable/unwilling to make a solid argument or can prove their moral concerns aren't an empty claim.

Hell, there's a Biblical teaching you can use on them that says this same thing. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." They apparently love the Bible so much so maybe they need to be reminded. Constantly.

Stealth dropping a fucking Oblivion remake TWO DAYS before Expedition 33 comes out is bound to divert any possible attention the latter game would get.

I'm definitely still gonna buy Expedition 33 because I'm not really interested in Elder Scrolls, but I was hoping a high-fidelity turn-based game would sell decently to prove that such a market still exists.

Yeah, the only platforms are Steam and Switch since the dev is literally in debt because of this game, lol.

Are the endings actually unique, or is it like, one optional character says thanks for the help bud and that counts as one?

The reviews seem to suggest that they're actually full, unique endings. The grand majority of them, at least. There's apparently instances where the reviewer kept taking notes of "I'll go back to this choice later to get the bad ending" only to find that the other choice unlocks an entire different storyline. I can't wait to dig in honestly.

The only bad thing about the game seems to be that because of the sheer size and quality of the branching path system, is that battle arena variety is incredibly lackluster, but thankfully offers a skip function for those battles when replaying routes.

Hundred Line Academy seems to be getting pretty high praise, which is good because this is a make-or-break, highly ambitious game that might close down the studio if it doesn't do well. How ambitious? Well, instead of it being a linear murder game, it's a branching path strategy RPG with proper stat-leveling, weapon upgrades, and scouting to find resources and materials, alongside free time events to develop your relationship with other students.

The branching path system legitimately offers 100 unique endings, and could take 150+ hours to get them all. 20-ish for a first playthrough, so I'm assuming after that it's a bit faster to go for different endings.

Yeah, part of the reason she kept HRT treatment a secret for two years is because she wanted to prove that the content won't change just because of a gender change. So that shouldn't be an issue I think. Though she does say that the gender jokes that have been going on since the RosaJon persona started years ago (an alternate of "himself" that looked like Mario's Rosalina) will probably stop since...well, she's actually a girl now.

The stream where she came out as trans is "This is the One Edition". It's actually pretty interesting learning when the egg finally cracked so-to-speak for her, and (the funny part) the sheer amount of hints and near slip-ups that have been happening on stream over the course of those two years. It's seven-ish hours but I've been listening to it off and on.

I haven't played any of the games. I randomly got it spoiled for me on Instagram a few weeks ago. So I knew it was coming. I just didn't know it was going to happen so soon. I figured since it's getting another season that it was going to likely be happening in the season finale. I gotta tell you, it was still more than a little jarring for me. So much so that while I'm still going to watch the rest of the show...I just care a whole lot less about it now.

You're not alone. When it happened in the game or when found out through spoilers/leaks, a lot of players just stopped caring. It's an extremely gutsy thing to do in writing.

Despite me knowing it was coming it still hurt. The scene was shot beautifully and the acting sold it. Got me to cry full tears again.

I don't really fall for rage bait so much anymore. ESPECIALLY since Twitter and Youtube trained me to ignore them thanks to it becoming a business to create ragebait.

Honestly glad to see it! She's happier than she's ever been! She was worried about revealing it in this day and age so I wish safety for her and her wife.

I think a big part contributing to long dev cycles is not retaining staff between projects and not reusing assets when it'd work well.

I'm guessing CE as a whole doesn't really care about this, lol. Either that or the title isn't eye-catching enough.

As for gameplay, the Steam screenshots look like it's basically like a 3D Pokemon game with turn-based battles.

I'd like to think I wouldn't become one of those people if I happened to come across a lot of money, but fame and money does seem to change a lot of people.

I think there are some genuinely good people out there who happen to be well off, but it's rare. I know Markiplier makes a ton from his YouTube stuff but from what I've heard he doesn't want all that money and routinely gives a lot of it away either through charity or friends and family.

I'm very happy that he's still alive. Hoping they can get him home soon.

I was thoroughly impressed with this game, tbh. Near AAA-presentation for an indie game and it's got a great story. Heavily inspired by the book 1984.

I can't believe how good the facial animation is, and it's apparently an indie game! The standards for indie games has definitely risen for sure. I was gonna wishlist it but apparently I already did at some point, lol.

You can totally play it single-player. You start off in a new town after getting introduced to some basic mechanics, and your job is to grow an empire of selling illegal drugs and avoiding law enforcement, eventually buying a front for your business, a house, hiring workers and dealers, etc.

It's a sim game that gets pretty addicting apparently. I've just been watching videos on it, I have no reason to get myself into another addicting game right now, lol.
