Lots if they are willing to change their setup but my uncle is an anti social world of warcraft player who hates living with people he won't. I am sorry you are in this position. I've been through this a couple times and the advice that darkmaian23 gave is worth listening to. Right now seems difficult but it will get a lot harder when she begins to deteriorate further. The escape plan is a must. I don't care what excuses your family members have, you need to talk to them and split the work. You cannot shoulder this on your own. If they are unwilling, you need to look for options such as senior care. Get in contact with your local government and see what assistances they can offer you. You do not want to be stuck being the sole caregiver in their final year or months. It is the most mentally and physically draining thing.

Are there no other family members to take care of her?

I have a Synology DS1621+, I love it. I use it as cloud storage for my phone, storage for documents and photos, and a media server via Jellyfin. It's great.

I used to have a DIY NAS, but the maintenance and the amount of effort to set it up and troubleshoot was too much/annoying. Synology alleviated some of that and I prefer it. As someone said earlier, the synology subreddit is very helpful if you need help.

That deal that they rejected was before the UNSC resolution that passed yesterday. They've also been clear that they don't want to deal unless it's an immediate and lasting ceasefire which includes an immediate and unconditional release of hostages on both sides. The proposal that was rejected before yesterday was a 6 week pause conditionally based on hostage exchange.

No, and a further one would be needed, but there was still no downside to letting it pass while continuing to push for an even better one. Heck, they even could've abstained so that it would pass but they could still send a message that they don't think it's enough. This isn't a case where supporting this one means you can't support an even better one, or where it comes with nasty side effects.

Because it was a PR Stunt by Biden in an election year that didn't actually call for a ceasefire which those countries saw right through. Like I said, it left the option open for Israel to continue their ongoing genocide while America continues to provide them the arms to do so.

Their claim is that it doesn't go far enough. Which is true, but also no reason not to adopt it so there's at least something. It's not a case where adopting it means sacrificing other things, in this case it literally is a binary choice "yes" or "no".

The resolution didn't go far enough nor did it call for an immediate and sustained ceasefire. It leaves the option for Israel to continue it's ongoing genocide. It's just repeating Israel's position on a temporary ceasefire. Also it wasn't just China and Russia rejecting the US resolution. Algeria and Guyana rejected it too as well as a few others.

There is however another UN vote tomorrow for an actual ceasefire resolution tomorrow which unless sabotaged by the US will have the support of Russia, China, Algeria and others for the 4th time now.

I'm all for these adult sets. I just can't afford them though, so I'm jealous.
