I'm suspecting the Georgia case won't be decided until early 2026 at best. If the case starts in late 2025, they're expecting the trial to be 5 to 6 months long. The judge is also going to break the trial up into multiple groups because there are so many defendants. Prosecutors are expecting to tell the entire story of the case every time. IIRC, In a RICO case, all evidence is admissible against all defendants.

I'm fully prepared for Donnie to win in November, the cases obviously drag along, and then as soon as his term is up the courts are suddenly like "Oooh noooo, we have time now and he's guilty and he's totally not allowed to be president again. See guys, we did a good thing, we held him accountable!!!"

Yeah, the amount of "god of the gaps" the cult does is hilariously insane. That Bragg has to get a team of probably hundreds of people to all falsify evidence, present that falsified evidence to a grand jury that then says this is sufficient enough to go to trial, get a corrupt judge, go through hundreds of jurors... who the defense also gets to choose from... and then spend weeks going over all of this falsified info and it being compelling enough for these jurors... who weren't previously known and no way the prosecution could have known exactly which ones would be chosen in the end... to come back with all guilty verdicts.

THAT all sounds perfectly logical to them. But the minute you say "I don't know.... maybe he's just fucking guilty?" you are suddenly speaking Martian straight out of your butthole.

Meanwhile, 3/3 republicans will vote for him no matter what.

If you watched his address on Friday after the guilty verdict, the guy is scared to death of what is coming his way. He KNOWS he is cooked. My personal opinion is, after the sentencing all the other stuff he did is going to start dropping, fake electors, classified documents being sold to foreign enemy countries/oligarchs, the n word Apprentice tape, etc. The guy is done.

If I could trade all of his other trials to get that one out of the hands of a maga chud I would do so in a heart beat. It's such a slam dunk case and something that may possibly potentially maybe kind of have the slightest bit of ACTUAL consequences for him. :/

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite of that. Misdemeanor statute expired but because he did said falsifying of records to cover for an election, that turned it into a felony, which has no statute/it wasn't up.
