i have cerebral palsy and was expected to stand for hours at walmart with no accommodations for over 2 months because i didn't have a doctor's note. they kept telling me to "get past the first few weeks and get used to the environment and we'll get you accommodations later (never happened)"

whenever i said the pain was too much, my workers gave indirect comments that amounted to "well you did say you can handle this job" which really made me feel bad about having physical problems at work, like i was lying in my interview when i said i could handle basic tasks

i felt so depressed that i had to quickly quit. my parents basically said "it's a really shitty thing to just quit so try to work out until the end of the month and give a notice." i obliged because i feel like they would've made me feel like a complete loser for up and quitting. i ended up being in pain for months because of the emotional pressure of everyone

i used to like ttyd a lot when i was younger, but then i got standards and a lot of the flaws get really apparent in subsequent runs. bland level design with tons of backtracking, padding, lackluster move variety, horrendous trouble center and boring pit of trials. it's still a good game but i can't really say it's one of the greats anymore and i have no desire to get the rerelease

it's a pretty mediocre series and the games often have the same issues. the pacing past the midgame is usually really bad and the plots usually get really dumb

berseria had a really boring cast and it felt like they tried to finish everyone's arcs all at once in a very rushed manner before the final boss

i have cerebral palsy and scoliosis and i'm constantly in pain. i always play video games or keep active so i can ignore the pain better. when i worked at walmart i was not given a chair for accommodations so i had to stand for 5 hours all day. i was basically on the verge of crying all day and was in so much pain that i would sleep for 14 hours after work

i need to get a job that's less physically demanding because working at walmart was legitimately one of the most depressing moments of my life, and i feel like an idiot for saying that but the pain was just awful and my coworkers never assisted me when i needed help. my internalized ableism was at an all-time high

i really need to prioritize my happiness over getting a job that's easy to apply for. i thought i could be someone that could tolerate bad work for reasonable pay but i learned the hard way that i'm definitely not. i wish i could get a desk job or have some other simple pipedream job

trials of mana is one of the few remakes i think is actually worth buying because it's actually a different experience than the original. i rarely buy remakes of games i've played because devs usually make the experience faithful to a fault
