Since I think Goodfellas is the best film ever made, I will easily say thats his best film.

I think Wolf of Wall Street is pretty overrated. Its like the Martin Scorsese party movie! Animal House, Old School, the Hangover!

Its beloved because it has characters going crazy, drinking, doing drugs, having sex and no serious consequences.

Not a bad movie, but not as good as some people claim

Kanye better squash this law suit quickly, because this could easily ballon into a series of law suits.

Based on how offensive Kanye's behavior in public spaces and on camera is, my guess is his behavior in private to his staff isn't all that pleasant.

If he just makes a fraction of the statements to his employees that he makes on the news he could be sued out of house and home.

The first Wonder Woman was great.

I haven't seen the second one and frankly don't have much incentive too. The "gone woke" rants should always be dismissed, but I've never heard any positives from any side.

If they made a third Wonder Woman, I would be willing to give it a chance based on how good the first one was. But there's no reason for them to make another sequel since the DCCU is hitting the reset button.
Agree with this.

Second Wonder Woman film was trash... but the first Wonder Woman film was the DCEU's unquestionable success (and they didn't have ton after either). It was just really good. Why not try again? Why not do more of what worked in the first film and none of what didn't in the second.

It's also weird because even after the failure of WW84 the WB still loved to have Wonder Woman cameo in ton of their stuff, so even with the failure they thought people still liked the character/actor... why not just make a good movie.

The fact that we call it Easter says a lot. Easter is a pagen holiday that has something to do with the beginning of Spring.

Some churches call it resurrection sunday.

the bunny and the eggs are part of the pagen spring time ritual (unless you believe South Park)

So a lot of what we associate with Easter has nothing to do with Jesus

Christianity means following the way of Christ, but we saw they actually don't.
So did Atheism, many atheist took it further that it becomes Anti-Theism.
Very much this.

Years ago as I was on a religious spirituality board someone asked me to about my beliefs. I explained them and then the same person attacked saying they make no sense. I said I understand if other people don't agree with or follow my beliefs, but they are still mine. He continued to attack them trying to get me to give up my belief system.

I eventually asked him why it was so important to him that I give up my beliefs. To which he replied, it's was his responsibility to teach people believing in religion and spirituality is wrong.

Hmm... so as a follower of Atheism it was his calling to convert the non-believers into his way of thinking, even if they disagree or don't want to hear his message.

Much like I am disgusted and embarrassed when I see religious people trying to force their views on people, I feel the exact same way when I see atheist try to force their views on people.

Pre-nut Delusion
This is the answer... or rather the question. Why do we have pre-nut delusion.

Pre nut Delusion seems like an evolutionary thing. If cave men were "logical" 100% of the time they would focus on getting food, water and shelter, sex would not be factored in, it does not serve their personal survival needs.

However if they don't have sex their gene's do not pass on to the next generation, so males with pre-nut delusions are more likely to procreate, and make more males with pre-nut delusion.

But once they fulfill their need to evolutionary need to spread their seed they can go back to focusing on getting food, water and shelter.

hmnut7

I think they can be a good idea, there is power in working as a group. Also if you live 20 feet from your neighbor what they do in their house can possibly affect you. So maybe having some REASONABLE rules for everyone isn't a bad idea. I have an HOA... I'm pretty happy with them.

But I have seen/heard too many horror stories about HOA's. HOA's, PTA's, etc etc give people just a little bit of power and they will always take it too far. So while I'm okay with my HOA I am not sure they are net positive in general. Also.....

They were originally created as another way to keep black people out of the suburbs. Not saying they are still racist... but you build something on top of racist, you're gonna have problems long after you "allegedly" stop being racist.

I've lived in NYC my whole life, I rode on the subway everyday for 10 years, and still ride it occasionally when meeting with friends. Nothing serious has ever happened to me or anyone I know.

That doesn't mean it's "safe" but I don't know anything that would say it's less safe now than it's been in the past.

I would think it was less safe in the 70s and 80s, but to be fair that too could be just how the media portrayed it, maybe it was the same, maybe it was better I honestly don't know the truth.

I was in LA a few months and one of the few times I rode the subway there the police stormed the subway car and pulled someone off. In all my years riding NYC subways that has never happened. So the fact that the police had to do that in LA, does that means LA subways are less safe, or the fact that they reacted so quickly means they are more safe? I don't know.
